Out-of-home beer consumption per capita was just 18.4 liters per person in 2025, compared to 19.9 liters the year before.
The reason for the decline is believed to be the lower disposable income of Spanish citizens, as well as the rise of newer forms of leisure activities – particularly the increased use of screen-based activities and a greater emphasis on health and wellbeing.
