Abbey Clancy had a row with her sister Elle after she wore white to her civil wedding.
The siblings appeared on Abbey and husband Peter Crouch’s The Therapy Crouch podcast, where they revealed the model’s ultimate faux pas.
The conversation started when Abbey, 40, announced that her little sister Elle, 28, had married her partner Scott in a civil ceremony ahead of their big wedding in Mallorca.
Recalling what happened, Elle said: ‘She called me the morning of and said, ‘I’m late. I’m wearing a white dress.’
To which Abbey replied: ‘It was butter lemon. Have you actually seen what I’m wearing right now? I have no clothes. We live out of boxes. And I discovered it was a butter-lemon-lemon two-piece….”
Elle interrupted, “Also known as cream.”

Trying to diffuse the conversation, Peter said, “The big day hasn’t arrived yet.”
Abbey then revealed: ‘I’m wearing a white dress for that. “I’m obviously a bridesmaid, but El’s bridesmaid dresses are cream.”
Elle revealed her sister wanted to alter the dress with a thigh-high slit, which she declined, before turning down a proposal for a different dress.
She told Abbey: “It looked like a Halloween dress for Can-Can girls. It did. It was terrible. That little ruffle thing was hideous, you know.”
After watching the sisters bicker, Peter said, “Oh, we’re recording a podcast here. It’s not that we don’t have a family debate.’
Elle announced her engagement in December 2023.
Scott led his partner into a room with giant letters reading ‘MARRY ME’, along with a bottle of prosecco and a train of rose petals on the floor.

The show follows ex-footballer and model as they navigate a new renovation project after leaving their £3 million home, big birthdays, weddings, changing priorities and their children starting to leave the nest.
The couple have four children: Sophia Ruby, 15, Liberty Rose, 11, Johnny, eight, and seven-year-old Jack.
Abbey and Peter have said it will be a “warts and all” look at their daily lives and will include some moments they “may regret showing the cameras”, as they promised the series would rival The Kardashians.
In the docuseries, the biggest change of all will be them packing up their things and leaving the home they lovingly designed, to tackle a brand new redesign project.
