Victoria Beckham shares emotional message on the eve of her 50th birthday as she declares she’s ‘ready to step into this new chapter… in heels of course’

Victoria Beckham is preparing to celebrate her 50th birthday, sharing an emotional Instagram post on Tuesday, the eve of the milestone.

Victoria posted a photo of herself in a bra and suit from her clothing line and shared a lengthy message, thanking her husband David and her four “beautiful” children for their “unconditional love and support” as she reflected on her life.

The Spice Girl said: ‘As I get ready to step into my 50s (in heels of course!), I feel so incredibly blessed to have reached this milestone.’

She spoke enthusiastically about the highlights of her career, saying she was “blessed, but also accomplished and deeply satisfied.”

‘Not only where I stand as a woman, but also how far my fashion and beauty brands have come.’

‘My ambition has always been to empower women and give them the feeling of being the best version of themselves. For me, that meant trusting my instincts and never compromising on my creative vision.”

She added that she was proud of her career trajectory, from pop star to fashion designer, writing: “I believe you can be many things. A pop star, a mother, a wife, a designer…’

‘My passion has always been to dream big, and then dream even bigger! Believe in yourself first; all others will follow. And if you’re really lucky, you’ll find someone who believes in you even more than you do.”

The star thanked David and said she was “forever grateful for your unconditional love and support, and for our beautiful children.”

“@BrooklynPeltzBeckham, @RomeoBeckham, @CruzBeckham, you complete me. I am so proud, so impressed with the kind, hardworking, talented individuals you are all becoming.”

Victoria ended her post promising that she will continue to strive for more, stating, “So, this is to do more of what I love with the people I love. I am so grateful for my family, my friends and my amazing team! This is the beginning of an exciting new chapter, and I’m just getting started.”

‘Mommy and daddy, I love you. Kisses Victoria xx’

Victoria has previously emphasized that she is okay with getting older and wants to “look good for her age.”

In a 2019 interview, the mother of four said, “I’m okay with getting older. I’m not trying to look younger at all. I just want to look good for my age.

‘I want to look like the best version of myself. I want to take care of what I have. I don’t really want to change anything. And I’m okay with that. I love how growing older feels.

“I’m okay with how it looks because it is what it is. Everyone gets older. [But] I don’t like how things are going [getting older] sounds.’

And she is just as satisfied with her career: her clothing line made a profit last year after a series of financial setbacks, some fifteen years after launching her own fashion label.

The star also has her own beauty line, while she is set to make her debut on the high street fashion market with her collection with Mango.

Her signature slip dresses, knitwear and tailoring have been remade at a more handbag-friendly price point, compared to the £90 she charges for a T-shirt from her eponymous label, which launched in 2008. The collection will be launched on April 23. .
