Taylor Swift takes the Billboard Hot 100! Star claims record 14 SPOTS with The Tortured Poets Department tracks (including one chart-topper) as album continues to shatter sales records

Taylor Swift continues to break records with her latest album The Tortured Poets Department as she reached the top 14 of the Billboard Hot 100.

The 34-year-old pop superstar, whose album was streamed more than a billion times and hit number one on the Billboard 200 in the days following its April 19 release, also saw her first single Fortnight feat. Post Malone tops the Hot 100, becoming her 12th number one.

Per Billboard, the star increased her all-time top 10 from 49 to 59, the most among women, and charted 32 of TTPD’s songs; all 31 from the double album and Cruel Summer – the most ever in one week by a woman.

The star celebrated the success of her new record, The Tortured Poets Department, by sharing posts on her Instagram account and Story on Sunday.

Swift’s latest album debuted at number one on the chart Billboard 200 chart last week, and it earned 2.61 million equivalent album units in its initial release period.

Swift prefaced her post by writing a message in the caption expressing that she was “stunned” and that she was “completely in awe of the love you have shown for this album.”

“Thank you for listening, streaming, and welcoming Tortured Poets into your life. I felt completely overwhelmed,” she continued.

The Tortured Poets Department has since become the best-selling album of the year, with Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter in second place.

Swift’s past relationship with Joe Alwyn, whom she dated for six years, is rumored to be one of the main topics of the record, and a source recently indicated Entertainment tonight an update on where the former couple stands.

“Taylor and Joe are not in contact at this time, but they are trying to be respectful to each other,” they said.

The source further noted that the actor had moved on from his old relationship and wanted to devote a majority of his time to his professional life.

“Joe wants to keep his personal life private. He is more introverted and the interest in his personal life is a bit overwhelming for him. He is focused on acting and his career,” they said.

The insider concluded by talking about how Swift was happy to have moved on with Travis Kelce, who she has been dating since last year.

“Taylor is happier than ever in her relationship with Travis and is focused on the future,” they said.
