Vicky Pattison reveals swanky hotel cancelled her engagement party

Vicky Pattison has revealed that her engagement party plans went haywire when her first choice of location refused to host her.

The reality star, 35, got engaged to Ercan Ramadan, 29, in Dubai in February and they celebrated with their loved ones by throwing a lavish party in London in July.

But their plans were ruined when she had her booking canceled at the last minute and the pair were forced to find an alternative venue.

She explained on her podcast, The secret of: “The engagement party was stressful!

‘We booked it at this London hotel, The Londoner and they found out it was for us and said they didn’t want me to go! How bad is that?

“We had been booking it for months and then we went to see it and they were really nice… want our guests’ privacy to be invaded by them.”

As Vicky’s podcast guest Kate Ferdinand said, “I am speechless’ Vicky agreed: ‘Wwe were!’

She added: ‘Then we had to look for somewhere late in central London as all my friends had their trains booked.

“We were fucking ourselves. In the end, we had it miles better somewhere – 14 Hills Restaurant – everything happens for a reason!’

The five-star hotel The Londoner on Leicester Square has event space to hire at a variety of rates, but a minimum spend for weddings starts from £30,000.

Vicky has been working on reinventing herself after her controversial stint on Geordie Shore propelled her to fame, previously stating that she would “never forgive myself for trading my respect for attention” on the show.

On her podcast, she explained that she was concerned that she would have to explain her behavior to any children she might have in the future.

She confessed, “I dread the day one of me comes across my best bits on Geordie Shore because how do you explain?

“Looking back at myself I’m so strict and I think it’s no wonder people thought I was crazy, you’re terrifying. I’m going to have to explain all this to my kids, “Your mom was a bit of an asshole once!”‘
