This is the tablet with the biggest battery ever: A small Chinese company promises a rugged device with a staggering 33,280 mAh battery, three times the capacity of Apple’s iPad Pro, and much cheaper too
Ulefone is about to launch the Armor Pad 3 Pro, a rugged tablet with what it claims is the world’s largest tablet battery ever, reportedly a whopping 33,280 mAh.
Launching on May 13, the device has three times the battery life of Apple’s iPad Pro and promises to deliver exceptional energy efficiency at a budget-friendly price tag.
The Armor Pad 3 Pro has a 10.36-inch, 2000 x 1200 (2K) 60Hz display with 500 nits peak brightness, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It’s powered by MediaTek’s MT8788 SoC, along with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (plus 8 GB virtual RAM) and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card.
More than two months of standby time
The tablet runs on Android 13 and has a 32 MP front camera and a 50 MP rear camera. The rear panel of the device features two 1100 lumen camping lights controlled by a dedicated button on the left frame. It also offers stereo speakers on the front.
The Armor Pad 3 Pro offers an HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, LTE (dual SIM) connectivity, and NFC. It is also IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified for water, dust and shock.
The highlight is of course the device’s enormous battery, which can be quickly charged via the USB-C port up to 66 W. The battery is designed for a standby time of 1,812 hours (over two months!), a talk time of 181 hours and 18 hours of video playback. That’s quite a jump from the original Armor Pad Pro, which had a 7,650 mAh battery that offered 414 hours of standby time and 41 hours of talk time.
Ulefone offers a range of add-ons for the tablet, including a rotating stand, a multi-function bag and an external Bluetooth speaker, all available separately.
