Traitors series winner Harry Clark has revealed he previously wanted to ‘end everything’ after finding himself ‘in the darkest place’.

Ex-army man Harry, 23, won the £95,000 prize from The Traitors in January after duping his fellow contestants, including Faithful runner-up Mollie Pierce.

He quickly became a fan favorite on Claudia Winkleman’s reality show because of his warm and sassy, ​​grumpy personality.

However, this was a far cry from how he felt in the years leading up to the show, and Harry admits he had hit rock bottom before.

The star narrated The mirror: ‘Around the age of 21 I went through a bad time. I was in the darkest place you could be. I felt like I wanted to end it all. I was a pretty angry kid. But the military shaped my characteristics and made me the man I am today.

‘I started to face my emotions and learned to give myself time to be angry and sad. I started setting time limits for myself to process my feelings. Then I told myself that I couldn’t waste any more time being angry or upset.

“I realized that time is the most important thing and I didn’t want to waste it. In the military, I was the guy people would talk to. All I want to do is help. It’s a lonely world and it’s easy to be blinded by mental health.”

Reflecting on his victory in The Traitors, Harry said he was still working when it aired but has since stopped.

A constant in his success is his girlfriend Anna Maynard, the sister of pop star Conor Maynard, whom he started dating in April 2022.

With Harry’s newfound fame, he wants to buy a big house so his whole family can come over every Christmas.

Harry showed off his acting skills in March Comic relief fans were treated to a star-studded parody The traitors: The film.

The hilarious segment saw the series two finale retold, with runner-up Mollie Pierce playing herself, but Harry was played by the devious Jonathan Bailey.

Also starring were Suranne Jones as Claudia Winkleman, David Walliams And Catherine Tate as contestants Paul Gorton and Evie Morrison.

Harry made a brief appearance at the end of the short film.

The first images showed them going through a series of insidious transformations after undergoing makeovers to look like the stars of the hit BBC show.

Suranne, 45, was chosen as host Claudia and sported the fan favorite’s signature heavy bangs and eyeliner.

The Traitors: The Movie brought to life some of the most iconic moments from the series, featuring some of the nation’s favorite contestants.
