UNABOMBER – September 25
Inspired by true events, UNABOMBER follows Ted Kaczynski’s transformation from 16-year-old Harvard prodigy to the man who would become known as the Unabomber. Jacob Tremblay stars as Kaczynski, while Russell Crowe plays professor Henry Murray, whose controversial psychological experiments become part of Kaczynski’s story. Shailene Woodley plays FBI agent Joanne Miller, who leads the manhunt decades later. The drama explores the troubled past, ambition and isolation behind one of America’s most infamous criminal cases.
The widower: ‘Till death do us part – September 30
If you’re partial to a true crime documentary, this one looks particularly chilling. The Widower: ‘Til Death Do Us Part follows a determined journalist and detective as they uncover a thirty-year web of crime surrounding a charismatic predator whose charm concealed a trail of failed marriages and suspicious deaths. The series comes from Chris Smith, the producer known for the hit Tiger King, and promises to investigate how a seemingly charming man could leave such a devastating trail behind him.
