Taylor Swift sends NFL WAGs gifts to celebrate launch of her new album The Tortured Poets Department, including handwritten notes, a vinyl record and even sweatpants
Taylor Swift sent some of her fellow NFL WAGs a special gift on Friday to celebrate the release of her new album The Tortured Poets Department.
Swift’s new collection of songs caused the world to collapse when the first album was released as scheduled at midnight, but hours later another 15 songs would be released.
On Friday evening, Spotify declared the album the most streamed in a single day, with Swift also becoming the most streamed artist in a single day.
But to celebrate the album’s release, Travis Kelce’s girlfriend sent some luxury packages to a select few NFL WAGs and the lucky recipients have shared what was inside.
One of the lucky ones was Kristin Juszczyk, wife of San Francisco 49ers star Kyle Juszcyzk.

Kristin and Swift struck up a friendship last season when the pop star wore one of her own designs during the Chiefs’ playoff win over the Miami Dolphins.
Both Swift and Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wore custom puffer jackets with their partner’s number during the frigid game at Arrowhead Stadium in January.
Juszczyk shared a photo of the box on her Instagram and it read, “From Taylor Swift’s desk.”
She then posted a photo of a loungewear set with the album’s name stitched on it, as well as a bracelet with the album’s emblem.
Juszczyk captioned the photo: “Kyle immediately ordered a matching set for himself. I know what I’m wearing and what I’m listening to all weekend/month/year! Thanks @taylorswift’.
Another lucky recipient was Chariah Gordon, the girlfriend of Kelce’s Chiefs teammate Mecole Hardman Jr.
Pregnant Gordon posted a similar photo of her gift, but hers included a vinyl copy of the new album and a handwritten note from Swift. She called herself a “Swiftie for life.”

It comes after Gordon and Hardman – who scored the winning touchdown in this year’s Super Bowl – posed for photos with Kelce and Swift after a game last season.
Swift and Brittany Mahomes struck up the closest friendship last season when the pop star became a regular at Chiefs games during her blossoming romance with Kelce.
However, Mahomes is currently in Cabo with her husband, so her gift could very well be waiting for her when she gets home to Kansas City.
However, Brittany was quick to respond to the release of BFF’s highly anticipated latest album in the early hours of Friday. On Thursday night, she took to her Instagram Story and shared Swift’s post about the release of her new album.
She added, “Let’s goooooo,” in the caption, with three clapping emojis in her story post.
Swift and Kelce have been publicly dating since last September, when she attended a Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears.
And the penultimate song from her new album appears to contain several references to football and the three-time Super Bowl winner.
“The Alchemy,” the 15th track on “The Tortured Poets Department,” went viral in the minutes following the album’s midnight release. On the bridge of the song, the references to Kelce are the most obvious.

“Singing cheers because they said / There was no chance / Trying to be the best in the league / Where’s the trophy? / He just comes running to me,” she sings.
Then the chorus begins: ‘Touch down / Call up the amateurs and remove them from the team / Throw away the clowns, take the crown, baby, I’m the one you gotta beat / ‘Cause the mark on your heart said it’s still is reserved for me / Honestly, who are we to fight alchemy?’
Other parts of the song refer to ‘blokes warm'[ing] the banks’.
The phrase about “amateurs,” according to some on social media, is aimed at Kelce’s teammate Kadarius Toney.
“Speculation is growing that Taylor Swift is talking about Kadarius Toney in her new song,” said a fan with a screenshot of the lyrics. Another wrote: ‘Taylor Swift has some notes for Andy Reid about Kadarius Toney.’
Another fan said, “The Alchemy is about Travis Kelce, but it’s also about Kadarius Toney.”
Wide receiver Toney had an inconsistent season on a personal level for the Chiefs, despite Kelce leading the way in their battle for Super Bowl victory.
Most notably, he was sidelined before what would have been a Kelce-inspired game-winning play for the Chiefs against the Buffalo Bills on December 10.
