Wrexham have flown to Las Vegas for the second year running – following their celebrations in the city last season – as Ryan Reynold and Rob McElhenney toast back-to-back promotions.
The Welsh team sealed a return to League One for the first time in 19 years after finishing second in the fourth tier of English football, earning 88 points after 26 wins, ten draws and ten losses.
That total wasn’t enough to win the League Two title as Stockport stopped them from becoming division champions, but Wrexham couldn’t care less as they continued their incredible rise in the Football League.
After winning the National League last season, Wrexham are riding a huge wave of success which was celebrated with a ‘monster’, all-expenses-paid trip to Vegas – and the players have been treated to another visit after James McClean shared photos of the flying squad.
Last year Wrexham were seen throwing huge pool parties while soaking up the sun alongside their famous chairman McElhenney and his wife Kaitlin Olson, although Reynolds stayed away from the action.
Wrexham stars have flown to Las Vegas again after back-to-back promotions, with James McClean leading the festivities
McClean was joined at dinner on the first night by Ollie Palmer, George Evans and Jack Marriott
Ryan Barnett and Jordan Davies also attended the dinner as the squad enjoyed some cocktails – before heading into town and hitting a nightclub
The Deadpool star joked that he would send the squad on a ‘meditation retreat’ the following year after wild celebrations appeared online, but it appears he has relented after another year of success.
McClean posted a photo of himself sitting on a plane with teammate Andy Cannon, joking in his caption: “Eight hours next to this tube on a flight.”
Jack Marriott and Arthur Okonkwo were also spotted at the airport, before McClean later uploaded a photo of a view from his hotel room overlooking the Vegas Strip.
He was then pictured enjoying a first meal in the city alongside Marriott, Ollie Palmer and George Evans.
Jordan Davies and Ryan Barnett also posed for a photo as the squad drank cocktails during the meal – before the team headed to a nightclub while Akonkwo was pictured wearing a Wrexham scarf alongside Evans and Cannon.

Co-owners Rob McElhenney (L) and Ryan Reynolds decided to re-treat the team after another historic performance
Last year the team enjoyed raucous festivities in the city as Rob McElhenney (second from right, wearing the Wrexham cap) and his wife Kaitlin Olson joined the festivities at a beach club.
Players shared a video of themselves dancing in a hot tub during the four-day trip
Owner Ryan Reynolds even joked that he would send them on a meditation retreat this year
It was a fairly civilized start to the trip, but if it’s anything like last year, expect some big parties.
Wrexham partied in Vegas for four days last summer, as they were filmed dancing in the pool, smoking cigars and drinking champagne as they relaxed in cabanas.
They were also treated to luxurious dinners at Hakkasan and Wolfgang Puck’s Spago – with the team even being invited to DJ Steve Aoki’s booth.
Defender Max Cleworth said he’s looking forward to the trip even more than last year (now that he’s turned 21), which means he can now enjoy some boozy celebrations.
‘Hopefully I’ll enjoy it a little more than last year! To be treated to something like this by the owners is incredible. I should be admitted to a few more places.
‘Obviously I was still grateful that I went, there wasn’t much I could do about it. I couldn’t change my age. I’ll enjoy being with the boys and having a party.’
