Suki Waterhouse embraces her inner rock chick in lace crop top and leopard print leather jacket as she supports fiance Robert Pattinson ahead of its premiere at the Venice Film Festival

Suki Waterhouse looked effortlessly chic as she touched down in Venice with her fiancé Robert Pattinson on Saturday.

The couple will appear on the red carpet later today for the premiere of Robert’s latest film Primetime, in which he stars alongside singer Phoebe Bridgers.

And as she prepared to support the actor, Suki, 34, embraced her inner rock chick in a black lace crop top and low-cut blue jeans.

The actress wore a stylish black leather jacket with a leopard print collar and completed her look with black shades and black loafers.

Meanwhile, Robert, 40, opted for a more casual look with a dark gray T-shirt, faded blue jeans, a gray zip-up hoodie and a black jacket.

He wore dark sunglasses and a baseball cap as he posed for photos with fans.

Robert stars alongside Phoebe, Skyler Gisondo and Merritt Wever in Primetime.

The true-life A24 drama, directed by Lance Oppenheim, tells the story of American journalist Chris Hansen’s journey into the world of underground crime.

The film marks Phoebe’s acting debut and also sees Robert take on a role as producer.

The prestigious event kicked off on Wednesday with the premiere of British director Danny Boyle’s Ink, a drama about the rise of media mogul Rupert Murdoch.

It closes on September 12 with the Italian costume drama Dio Ride (God Laughs), written and directed by Giovanni Veronesi.

American actress and filmmaker Maggie Gyllenhaal will chair the jury for the main competition.

She is joined by Tunisian director and screenwriter Kaouther Ben Hania, English composer Daniel Blumberg, Italian film critic Francesco Casetti, French director Xavier Giannoli, Afghan director Shahrbanoo Sadat and Hong Kong director Johnnie To.

Stars expected to attend this year include Oasis’ Noel and Liam Gallagher, sisters Rooney and Kate Mara, Penélope Cruz and her husband Javier Bardem, Pamela Anderson, Sam Rockwell, John Malkovich, French actor Louis Garrel, South Korean actress Cho Yeo-jeong and American actress Ellen Burstyn, who will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

On Friday evening, Nicola Peltz Beckham made her film festival debut at an event at the 83rd Venice Film Festival.

Introduced simply as ‘Nicola Beckham’, the actress smiled and giggled with delight as she walked in – an hour late – behind famous diva Faye Dunaway.

Sources indicate the delay was due to Ms. Dunaway not being ready to appear.

Ms. Dunaway stars in Peltz Beckham’s upcoming film Prima, about a ballerina, and both women will receive a Kineo award tomorrow.

Nicola will be named a ‘Rising Star’ and Dunaway will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The actress, dressed in white trousers and a tank top, said: ‘Thank you so much for having me here, it’s such an honour. I’m so happy to be sitting here next to the one and only Faye Dunaway, the icon!’

Mrs Dunaway, who walked with the help of a cane, replied: ‘I’m very happy to be here with this lady who I see is going to have a very big career.

“I think she’s so talented and we’re going to see so much of her.”

Moments later the pair left the stage, at the Italian pavilion in the Excelsior hotel, followed by a small barking dog. It was not clear whether the dog belongs to either or neither.

Nicola started acting in Deck The Halls with Danny DeVito in 2006, and posted a throwback snap to her Instagram earlier this week.

She was also in The Last Airbender and Transformers: The Age Of Extinction.

More recently, she writes and produces films through her label, Bunny Films, which is named after her late grandmother and partially financed by her billionaire father, Nelson.

Her last film was Lola, which failed to receive wide distribution and grossed less than $1,000 at the box office.

Married to David and Victoria’s son Brooklyn Beckham since April 2022, she has found herself at the center of a family feud that has seen her husband cut off his family in search of “peace” after explaining on Instagram in January that they had tried to separate him from his wife.

The Kineo Awards, celebrating its 25th anniversary, notes that “the American actress, screenwriter and producer has attracted growing international attention in recent years through increasingly versatile roles both in front of and behind the camera.”
