Just Stop Oil are reportedly planning to target Strictly Come Dancing for their next protest.
According to The mirrorprotesters are planning to invade the dance floor in front of millions of viewers, and BBC bosses are now being forced to step up security.
The group is said to have organized the stage stunt to take place at some point this autumn as part of a campaign to ‘amplify’ their climate activism.
However, the BBC has been tipped off about the plot and is considering security measures.
The publication revealed that Just Stop Oil’s desire to get ‘maximum attention’ for its cause and live on the BBC was the perfect setting.

It is claimed the group is looking to repeat the recent demonstrations in Sweden where eco-group Restore Wetlands stormed the stage during the Let’s Dance finale.
Armed with yellow powder and signs, the two protesters ran onto the stage to cause chaos in front of the cameras the operator punched the camera in the face of one of the protesters.
Plan Strictly will repeat this demonstration as they plan to get on stage and then hold signs or throw confetti.
A group source said: “What happened with Restore Wetlands was genius. It’s absolutely something we’re looking at. Strictly Come Dancing has a studio audience so it’s a chance to get inside on the night.
“Everyone talked about it for a long time. Primetime BBC television with millions of viewers would be amazing.’
Another said they saw text messages that read: “The bees are buzzing!” (and) others talk about how the plan to make the biggest impact is storming the stage.’
Speaking about the plans, Tory MP Nigel Mills explained how this shows the group is just hungry for attention and wants to cause as much disruption as possible without a second thought to those it affects.
He expressed hope that the plan will fail and stated that the group is not helping climate change at all.

Former MET detective Peter Blakeslee warned the BBC should be on high alert because Strictly would be a perfect target for the group.
A BBC source told the Mirror that Strictly has appropriate security protocols in place and takes threats seriously.

It comes after JSO pulled the plug on Les Miserables and closed the show in London’s West End earlier this month.
The crowd booed and jeered as the eco-activists, holding the group’s orange banner, took to the stage at the Sondheim Theater in Shaftesbury during a performance of the famous song One More Day.
The Metropolitan Police arrested the people after the break in the musical, which depicts a failed republican rebellion against the French state and costs up to £200 a ticket.
And in their latest protest, fans stormed the stage and sprayed orange paint at the UK’s biggest gaming convention.
