Steve Carell and Tina Fey reunite to star in Netflix’s eight-episode remake of The Four Seasons
Tina Fey and Steve Carell will reunite for Netflix’s eight-episode comedy series The Four Seasons, in which they will play a married couple for the second time.
The 53-year-old Mean Girls producer and the 61-year-old Office alum will begin production later this year on the remake of Alan Alda’s critically acclaimed 1981 feature debut, starring Carol Burnett, whose famous catchphrase was “Are we got Are you having fun yet?’
The Four Seasons – featuring the four concertos of composer Antonio Vivaldi – focuses on three middle-class married couples who vacation together (New York, Virgin Islands, Connecticut and Vermont) and how their friendships and relationships change and evolve.
The $6.5 million-budget film grossed $50.4 million at the box office, received four Golden Globe Award nominations, and spawned a 13-episode CBS spinoff in 1984.

Tina is creating The Four Seasons with fellow 30 Rock alumni Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield, and she’s enlisted her husband of 22 years โ Jeff Richmond โ as one of the producers.
Fey and Carell previously played bored couple Phil and Claire Foster in Shawn Levy’s 2010 mistaken-identity rom-com titled Date Night, which grossed $152.3 million from a $55 million budget at the worldwide box office, despite bad reviews.
Steve will make his big Broadway debut as Ivan Petrovich Voinitsky in the Lincoln Center revival of Uncle Vanya, which opens Wednesday night and runs through June 16 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in Manhattan.
Lila Neugebauer directs Heidi Schreck’s new version of Anton Chekhov’s 1897 play, starring Tony Award nominees Alfred Molina and Alison Pill.
The Asteroid City actor will also voice purple-haired creature Blue in John Krasinski’s live-action comedy, set to hit US/UK theaters on May 17, alongside Ryan Reynolds, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Louis Gossett Jr.
Carell will also reprise his voiceover role as Anti-Villain League agent Gru in Chris Renaud’s animated comedy Despicable Me 4, opening in US theaters on July 3 and UK theaters on July 5.
The Illumination family film also stars Kristen Wiig, Will Ferrell, Sofรญa Vergara, Chloe Fineman, Stephen Colbert and Steve Coogan.
