Dr Chris Brown reveals he hasn’t given up on his hopes to become a father: ‘It’s not the way it’s worked out’
Dr. Chris Brown has opened up about his hopes to one day start a family.
The 45-year-old TV vet admitted that after dedicating the past decade to his career, he still wants to be a father.
‘I still think that is a big priority. Would I have wanted to do something about that in the past five years? Probably,β he said in an interview with Stellar magazine, which hits newsstands Sunday.
‘But that’s not how the job turned out. If it didn’t happen naturally and I’m not a father yet, that’s fine with me. I’m not worried.
Chris, who will soon be seen in Seven’s new renovation show Dream Home, added that he didn’t want to “force things” and end up in a “rushed” situation.

Elsewhere in the chat, the doctor admitted that he would have liked to have a family at this stage of his life.
“I’ve probably prioritized my work more than I should have over the last 10 years, to the detriment of my personal life,” he said.
‘In a perfect world I would have liked to have children, but that’s not how it works.’

It comes after Chris jumped the shock network from Channel Ten to Channel Seven in July last year.
According to reports, the television star is feeling ‘the pressure’ with his upcoming roles at Seven – his first few duties include hosting Dancing With The Stars, new renovation show Dream Home and new animal adventure series Once In A Lifetime.
“I think he’s having a hard time,” a source said New idea magazine.
“He turned his whole life upside down when he moved to Seven, and he may be feeling the pressure.”
The insider added that the network is “ruthless” on ratings and will rely on Brown when the “cameras start rolling.”

Brown signed a two-year contract with Seven worth more than $1 million a year, following his contractual commitments on I’m A Celebrity with his former network.

Dream Home is based on the successful New Zealand series of the same name that aired from 1999 to 2013.
The series is being created by production company Endemol Shine and started filming last year before premiering in early 2024.
Brown signed a multi-year deal with Seven in February last year to deliver unspecified ‘new projects’ for the channel.
In addition to hosting Dream Home, he also co-hosts Dancing With The Stars alongside Sonia Kruger.
He also appeared in a new animal adventure series Once in a Lifetime.

Brown began his TV career in 2003 as presenter of Harry’s Practice on Seven, a role that earned him a Logie nomination for Most Popular New Talent.
He joined Ten in 2008 to present Bondi Vet, which became a surprise ratings hit and was broadcast around the world.
The factual series was based on his practical experience as a veterinarian at Bondi Junction Veterinary Hospital in Sydney’s east.
He then became a part-time panelist on The Project and co-hosted I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Living Room, which was canceled last year.
