Sir Tom Jones has stepped down from The Voice UK after 13 years as a coach on the show.
The legendary musician, 86, has appeared on the show since it launched in 2012.
However, in a new shake-up, it has been revealed that the Welsh singer will no longer be acting as a coach on the series, but will instead be involved with the series in an ‘other capacity’ later on.
The news comes after it was reported last month that Cheryl is set for a big TV comeback as a coach in the new series of the ITV show.
If Cheryl joins the ITV show, she would join Kelly Rowland and her boyfriend will.i.am as coaches.
Meanwhile, Aitch is also rumored to replace McFly duo Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher, who are leaving the show.
An ITV show source told the Daily Mail: ‘ITV is absolutely loving working with Sir Tom. They are in discussions with him and hope he returns to the series.’

A source also said that The sun: ‘Everyone loves Sir Tom, but there was a feeling that the upcoming series needed a major revamp. With Aitch and Cheryl coming on board and Kelly returning with will.i.am, there just wasn’t room left.”
‘Everyone is sad to see Tom leave. Discussions are currently underway about how he could be involved in the series in a smaller capacity. Sir Tom loves the show and finding new talent and still wanted to be involved.”
The Daily Mail has contacted Tom’s representatives for comment.
The publication also confirmed that Kelly will return for a second series following her debut in this current series.
If Cheryl joins the ITV show it would add to the huge shake-up for the new series, amid reports that Alesha Dixon and Stacey Solomon will also replace outgoing presenter Emma Willis.

However, she is now said to have been in talks with show bosses ‘for months’, with filming for the new series due to start in Manchester on September 11.
A source said The sun: ‘Every year, producers ask Cheryl to join the show, and it’s a polite ‘no’ as the timing has never been quite right.
‘It’s different this year. She feels ready to step back into the spotlight and talks are now in the final stages.”
The insider continued, “It could all go wrong, but with three weeks to go before filming begins, the production team is confident she will pull it off. It helps that old friend Will.i.am is on the panel next to her.’

It comes weeks after Cheryl was said to be plotting another big career move, with insiders revealing the singer is in talks for a documentary about her life.
The star has largely stayed out of the spotlight since the tragic death of her nine-year-old son Bear’s father, Liam Payne, two years ago.
She also paused her music career after welcoming Bear in 2017, choosing to focus on motherhood and TV work, and only returned to the stage in 2024 for the Girls Aloud reunion tour, in memory of her late bandmate Sarah Harding.
But sources close to Cheryl have revealed she is considering signing up for a major documentary about her career successes, starting with Popstars: The Rivals.
The film also provides a rare insight into her love life, including her high-profile marriages to footballer Ashley Cole and Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, in addition to her relationship with the One Direction star.
