“Live Nation and Roundhouse Entertainment regret to announce that tonight’s performance by Rod Stewart, Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens at the Mt. Duneed Estate, Geelong will not take place due to illness,” their statement read.

Stewart posted the message along with a caption containing a broken heart emoji.

It’s unclear which of the three artists has fallen ill, as they all made the same cancellation post on their Instagram pages.

Lauper, 69, posted his statement with the caption “Forwarding from Sir Rod Stewart,” while Stevens, 61, simply said, “Important announcement.”

It’s also unclear how this mysterious illness will affect the rest of the tour, as the trio are due to play Adelaide on Tuesday.

They will then head to Mt Cotton in Queensland on March 25 and 26 before flying to Sydney on March 29.

The tour will remain in New South Wales for its final two shows, one in Hunter Valley on April 1 and the finale in Bowral on April 2.
