Sherri Shepherd SHOCKS as her wig FALLS OFF on live TV…

Sherri Shepherd’s wig fell off on live television, but she did it in solidarity with pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts who went viral over the weekend for dropping her hairpiece.

The 56-year-old television personality – who has been open about her plan to have a breast reduction – relived the moment on her talk show Sherri on Monday.

She said, “If you know me, you know I adore Sarah Jakes Roberts.

“I’ve been following her journey in ministry. I’ve been reading her books for a long time and I went to her church.”

Sherri then showed the now-viral clip of Sarah preaching in Dallas, Texas, explaining that the sermon was “so touching that her wig started to slide off.”

Instead of leaving the stage to try on the wig, Sarah took the bold step of taking it off completely and finishing her public speech with a wig cap.

Sherri said, “I was so inspired by Sarah Jakes because I know how that happens and she inspires so many people.”

Then the chat show host urged everyone to jump up when her wig fell off her head.

The crowd cheered Sherri and many in the audience were stunned at the time.

The host then held her wig as she said, “And what are you going to do?” The show must go on, the show must go on.’

Sherri ended the segment by throwing her wig which was caught and put on by commentator Jawn Murray.

On Sunday, Pastor Sarah even took to Instagram to share some footage of the wig slip while sharing an inspirational message.

She wrote, “I have always enjoyed dressing up and looking my best. I have also worked very hard to separate my worth and identity from my appearance. I can be full of glamor one day and a fresh hyper-pigmented face the next.

“Today I was preaching and I felt my wig slipping off. My message was more important to me than maintaining my appearance, so I took it off, locked myself in, and continued to preach.”

What may have been an embarrassing moment for many turned into an inspiring moment when Sarah said some women in the audience did the same in solidarity with her.

She explained, “What moved me most was seeing how many women joined me in becoming boldly vulnerable, real, and free. Literally, wigs are popping up everywhere.

“As long as you get the message and God gets the glory, my job is done.”
