Tom Hanks’ son Chet Hanks declares it will be a ‘white boy summer’ again – a day after explaining Kendrick Lamar and Drake rap beef to his famous dad

Chet Hanks took to Instagram this week to once again declare that it will be a “white boy summer,” a term he coined in 2021.

The 33-year-old social media figure – whose father is Tom Hanks – shared a post with his 547,000 followers on Monday making the statement.

It comes as Chet is going viral for explaining Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s rap beef to his famous father in a recent social media post.

When he first used the term, Chet was mercilessly mocked online, with one social media user joking: “Someone tell Chet Hanks we’ve been in a white boy’s summer for thousands of years.”

In his latest post, Chet wore a white crew-neck T-shirt and rectangular sunglasses with clear frames and lenses with a subtle blue tint.

The star also wore a Cuban link necklace and diamond stud earrings as he sat in a Ferrari with black leather seats.

Chet wrote in the caption, “I consulted heaven, felt a west wind, walked out of a strip club and saw my shadow… this is going to be a #WBS #iHaveSpoken.”

Chet rocked a buzz cut in his selfie and also sported a blonde beard.

It comes several years after the personality piggybacked on Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer campaign.

At the time, he made it clear that the name of his “movement” is not racial in nature, and that he is not talking about “Trump and Nascar-type white.”

The phrase raised eyebrows, despite his claim that it is about “good vibes.”

Hanks also defended his item of clothing: a ribbed white tank top, which some colloquially call a “wife beater.”

The actor said in 2021, “Someone also asked me if we can ban wife beaters. What if we’re talking about real people who beat their wives? Yes.

‘Speaking of the tank tops? Absolutely not. I don’t know anything better, White Boy Summer, than a wife beater.”

He also made it clear that “prejudice” does not mean “white boy summer.”

“You know what isn’t a white boy’s summer? Do you have any ill will or prejudice against anyone from a different background, race, or walk of life than you, you know?… That’s not White Boy Summer, dude. That’s the shit we need to take to the next level and get rid of, straight up… Because the real vibe is nothing but good vibes towards everyone,” he noted.

Chet was happy to break the back-and-forth between the two rappers, which sent the internet into a frenzy earlier this month.

Chet replied, “Yeah, so Drake and that other guy J Cole say they, along with Kendrick, are the ‘Big 3’ in Rap. Then Kendrick released a song with the lyrics: “F*** the Big 3, it’s just big ME,” which initiated the feud.

Chet, one of Tom’s four children, added, “Then Drake said, ‘You have small feet because you’re like 6 feet tall or something.’ And then Kendrick said, ‘You’re a bad dad,’ and he made fun of his Canadian accent.”

He continued passionately, “But it didn’t even matter because then Kendrick dropped another West Coast banger where he really addressed labeling Drake as a pedophile, which was pretty much the sonic equivalent of when you brought .me to your high school in Oakland and We walked into the basketball game and everyone started going crazy.

“Like if you heard it, you’d automatically know how to walk Crip with a stinky face while holding an Oscar in each hand with Marshawn Lynch, then pat him down and tell him ‘Town Bidness,’ which won’t just be for Kendrick but also confirmed for him. the entire West Coast.”

The younger Hanks, who rapped under the alias Chet Haze, continued, “It was pretty much the sonic equivalent of when you took me to your high school in Oakland and we walked in on the basketball game and everyone started going crazy.

“Like if you heard it, you would automatically know how to walk around with a stinky face while holding an Oscar in each hand with Marshawn Lynch.

“Then call him up and tell him ‘Town Bidness,’ which cemented the victory not just for Kendrick but for the entire West Coast.”

Tom replied, “Holy cow! Those are fighting words! People taking sides?? Who’s winning???’ while Chet hilariously replied, “Didn’t you just read what I said?” followed by three crying laughing emoji.
