She has not had contact with her brother for almost three months. But Bethany Peaty – Adam Ramsay-Peaty’s 32-year-old sister – was desperate to share sensational news with him.
In July, the Daily Mail revealed that Adam’s wife Holly, 26, had tried to stop Bethany from announcing she was expecting a baby at the same time as Holly and Adam.
It’s claimed Holly didn’t want any announcement about Bethany’s pregnancy to ‘steal the spotlight’ from her own baby, who is due just weeks before her sister-in-law’s birth in January.
And yet Bethany couldn’t contain herself. So two weeks ago, in an excited WhatsApp message to Adam, 31, Bethany broke the news that she was expecting a baby girl.
However, I can reveal that her attempt to mend the family feud went unanswered a fortnight later. Adam completely ignored her message.
Sources close to the family tell me the incident left Bethany deeply hurt. Bethany had hoped she would be able to bond with her sister-in-law during their joint pregnancies, especially since they are both expecting a girl.
But in the final saga of the Peaty-Ramsay drama, my sources tell me that Bethany sees this as the final straw. She finally runs out of patience with her beloved brother and his new wife.
So in a bold move, Bethany has unfollowed both Adam and Holly on social media, leaving any hopes of a reconciliation in tatters.

A source close to the family told the Daily Mail: ‘Adam read the message but chose to ignore it.
‘It’s disturbing. Beth had a super close bond with her brother, but she feels used and has had enough.’
And this latest failed attempt isn’t the first time Bethany has tried to play peacemaker in the Peaty family feud.
Readers will recall that the Peaty family drama began in late 2024 over a disagreement over invitations to Adam and Holly’s engagement celebrations.
Tensions rose in November 2025 when Adam’s mother, Caroline, spoke publicly about feeling left out of Holly Ramsay’s lavish hen party at Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds.
The feud escalated when Caroline and other members of the Peaty family were not invited to the couple’s wedding at Bath Abbey last December.
Despite Adam’s contempt for his mother, his sister Bethany was always by his side and acted as a bridesmaid.
Bethany, who has a nine-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter with her partner Daniel Rogerson, was the only member of the Peaty family to attend her brother’s wedding.
Of course, it couldn’t have been an easy decision, as she faced a very public backlash, with several people accusing her of ‘turning against her own family’.
But through it all, Bethany was desperate for bridges.
She even publicly congratulated Holly, the middle daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, when Holly announced she was expecting her first child in June.

But after Holly’s latest blows and now Adam’s choice to ignore her baby’s gender reveal, sources close to the family tell me Bethany is “completely done with it.”
‘Beth is tired and exhausted from her pregnancy. A relationship with anyone should be a two-way street, but it has been one-sided,” my source said.
‘The Peaty family suspect that Holly has access to Adam’s phone as he would never have ignored his sister before, especially on something so special.’
Sources claim that Adam has changed since indulging in his new “celebrity lifestyle,” which culminated in his embrace by the Ramsay clan.
Some say Adam’s choice to change his name to ‘Ramsay-Peaty’ after getting married in December 2025 was yet another attempt to distance himself from his once-loving family.
Last month, the Daily Mail revealed that before this feud became public, Adam had hurt his big brother James Peaty, 34 – known as Jamie – by choosing not to attend his stillborn baby’s funeral in 2024.
Jamie and his wife Charlotte lost a baby boy, who they named Josh, at 23 weeks of pregnancy that year.
Instead of attending the funeral with his family in 2024, Adam chose to attend the wedding of one of Holly’s friends.
“Jamie lost a child, which broke his heart and Charlotte’s,” a source close to the family said.
‘He had asked Adam to attend the funeral for some moral and emotional support, but his brother abandoned him and said he had to attend a social event as Holly had invited him to a friend’s wedding and insisted they had to be there.
“It appears that a rift has developed between the two brothers, which has escalated into a full-blown family feud.”

“The Peaty family suspect that Holly has access to Adam’s phone because he would never have ignored his sister before, especially over something so special,” the source said.
Jamie and Charlotte, who share two children, are now expecting another child two years after their devastating loss.
But of course the happy news is tarnished by the breakdown of relations between Adam, Holly and the rest of the Peaty family.
The rift between the brothers widened when Jamie – who was initially chosen as a groomsman before being banned from the festivities – was arrested in November on charges that he threatened the Olympian during his stag week in Budapest. It led to Adam receiving a large police escort at Manchester airport on his return home.
The siblings’ father, Mark, said at the time: ‘They are brothers. They have always been close, but like any normal family, brothers fight, argue, get into a fight, make up and start all over again. But it’s gotten out of hand.’

My source said Adam – who was contacted for comment – even blocked his mother on WhatsApp and social media, making it impossible for her to contact him.
