It’s official: Scherri-Lee Biggs and Daniel Venables are engaged.

The 24-year-old West Coast Eagles star got down on one knee and popped the question beachside Friday night.

Sharing the happy news on Instagram, the Today show reporter, 32, posted a photo of the beaming lovebirds cuddling by the water as she showed off her diamond ring.

Biggs and Venables confirmed their rumored romance in May when she posted a picture of the pair cuddled up on a beach.

The former AFL player, who retired from the sport after sustaining a serious head injury during a match, also posted a snap of Biggs laughing in a bathing suit, saying: “I found a comedian.”

While it’s unclear how long they’ve been dating, they were first photographed together in Vaucluse, Sydney in early January.

This isn’t the first time Biggs has dated an Eagles player, as she was previously in a relationship with Brad Sheppard from May 2018 to December 2019.
