Cara Delevingne keeps it casual in white t-shirt and Viagra racing jacket at JFK airport… after clapping back at critics of her eyebrow-raising Met Gala interview

Cara Delevingne was spotted in a casually chic ensemble on a flight in New York City on Thursday.

The 31-year-old supermodel – who raised eyebrows during her red carpet interview at the Met Gala – looked stylish in a simple white T-shirt and striped trousers at JFK Airport.

The Suicide Squad actress added a little flair with a Viagra racing jacket and rocked dark sunglasses and chunky heeled boots.

She kept her signature blonde locks in a loose bun as she made her way through airport security checks.

The outing follows Cara’s consistent claim that she remains sober despite accusations from trolls who claimed she appeared “poisoned” during a viral interview at the Met Gala on Monday.

The British beauty sparked fans’ curiosity while chatting on the red carpet alongside Ed Sheeran and Stella McCartney, wearing a unique custom VRAI x Stella McCartney hooded garment.

One fan commented on a E! video: ‘They stop her from ruining the interview because she was so drunk she had to intervene.’

Cara herself chimed in with the comments, saying: “Clearly for almost two years!! Thanks for the support.’

This follows Cara’s revelation that she sought help by checking herself into rehab after being confronted with ‘heartbreaking’ images published by DailyMail.com in 2022, which served as a wake-up call for her.

Speak with Fashion magazine as their April cover star, she confessed that she hadn’t been “ready” to tackle her demons until she found herself in a “bad place.”

She explained: ‘I had some kind of interventions, but I wasn’t ready for it. That is the problem.

‘I hadn’t seen a therapist in three years. I just pushed everyone away, which made me realize how much of a bad place I was.”

Footage emerged showing the star in a nervous and anxious state outside Van Nuys Airport, wearing dirty socks and barefoot. Her appearance, with sunken, dark eyes and smoking from a pipe in her car, raised concerns among fans about her health.

Later, Cara said that the presence of friends and family during her crisis helped her realize how much she is loved.

She continues, “I always thought that work has to be done in bad times, but actually work has to be done in good times.

‘The work must be done consistently. It will never heal or be completely cured, but that’s fine with me, and that’s the difference.

“Sometimes you need a reality check, so in a way those photos were something to be grateful for.”
