Keith Urban says ‘it fires me up a bit more’ when wife Nicole Kidman watches him perform on stage… ahead of their 18th wedding anniversary: ‘I try to impress her’
Keith Urban reveals she’s still trying to impress his wife of almost 18 years, Nicole Kidman.
Keith said that when Nicole attends one of his concerts or performances, “it turns me on a little more,” adding, “I’m trying to impress her,” he shared. People magazine.
The 56-year-old country singer is gearing up for his Las Vegas residency, which will last ten nights – from October 4 to 12, 2024 and from February 14 to 22, 2025.
Nicole, 56, and Keith, who attended the Met Gala together on Monday, will celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary on June 25.

Keith and Nicole have two children together: daughters Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13.
She has two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise: Isabella Jane Cruise, 31, and Connor Antony Cruise, 29.
They will celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary on June 25.
The lovebirds first met on January 15, 2005 at the G’Day USA gala in LA; Nicole and Keith are both from Australia.
They had exchanged numbers but he didn’t call her for four months – and the couple went from strength to strength after reuniting last summer.
They announced their engagement in May 2006 and a month later – on June 25, 2006 – they married in Sydney.
Keith’s Las Vegas residency includes ten shows – some in October – from October 4 to 12 – and some in February 2025 – from February 14 to 22, 2025.
His shows take place at the BleuLive Theater of Fontainebleau; he has previously done residencies at Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood.
The upcoming Vegas residency is called ‘High’ and he says it’s different from his last.

“The only challenge I find in Vegas is that you obviously have a big mix of people. You have some hardcore fans, you have some people who know some of your songs, but you always have people who don’t know anything I know, and they’re just curious,” he told People.
Adding: ‘I’m trying to get everyone involved as quickly as possible.’
Keith also said he hopes to make his father proud.
His father, Bob Urban, died of cancer in December 2015.
“I feel like I’m still trying to make my dad proud, and I think my dad was proud years ago, too. My father is never alive and I still feel like I’m trying to get this approval. So certain things just remain part of my fire,” the singer said.
