Sam Taylor-Johnson has shared a rare photo of a loved-up couple with her actor husband Aaron, slamming the “fascination” people have with their relationship despite their age gap.
The director, 57, who married her husband in 2012 after they met three years earlier on the set of Nowhere Boy, is 23 years older than the actor, 34.
On Monday, Sam took to her Instagram Story to reveal she had her arms around her husband as the couple posed for a photo at Glastonbury Festival.
For the photo, she wore a khaki Marfa Stance puffer jacket with a fluffy collar and drawstring sleeves, and her blonde hair was styled in pigtails.
Meanwhile, Aaron showed off his full beard as he beamed for the photo, wearing a denim jacket with a white T-shirt underneath.

Sam said in May that she can’t believe how “fascinated” people are by the 23-year age difference between her and Aaron.
The couple have a very personal relationship and Sam has admitted that people were initially ‘really interested’ in their relationship because ‘people want to understand things, even if they can’t’.
She said the interest has “kind of died down” now, as the couple have been together for 14 years.
Speaking about her relationship on BBC Radio 4’s This Cultural Life, she said: ‘I think the interest was greater when we started dating, which was 14 years ago. It was quite intense at the beginning.
‘And that kind of fascination, because he’s younger than me, you know, we couldn’t really grasp the fascination. But I think it’s kind of faded.
‘Usually when I do press and stuff like this, it kind of picks up again. But yeah, I think people want to understand things when they can’t.
“They want to take up art when they can’t grasp what a certain love story is that doesn’t fit into a box.”
Earlier this month, Sam was asked if the age difference between the two men is reflected in their different interests or points of reference.

She revealed that the interest has now ‘kind of died down’, after the couple have been together for 14 years (pictured with daughters Wylda, 13, and Romy, 12, in 2009)
The director said The Guardian’s Saturday magazine: ‘No, it never does. I mean, it comes up now because you asked.
‘And it comes from the perspective of the outside, of people who don’t know us. Because I think people always will.
‘We are a bit of an exception, but that’s just the way it is: after 14 years you think: it doesn’t matter that much anymore, does it?’
Back To Black filmmaker Sam is mother to Angelica, 26, and Jessie, 17, who she shares with ex-husband Jay Jopling. She shares Wylda, 13, and Romy, 12, with Aaron.
Sam said she never had any doubts about entering into a relationship with a much younger man.

She said, ‘If I had been cynical for a second, it wouldn’t have worked. If I had doubted anything, it would never have worked.
“I’m pretty instinctive. I’ve been very down to earth in everything I’ve done in my life. I always think, ‘This seems great,’ and I just jump right in and go through the experience, whether it’s good or bad.
“It’s definitely a ‘F*** it, let’s go with it’ approach. And I’m a big believer that the heart is everything. Love conquers all.”
