Pregnant woman stunned by ‘disappointing’ McDonald’s breakfast after staff left a blunt note on her order

A pregnant woman is left annoyed, upset and very hungry after finding a shocking note in a McDonald’s breakfast delivery.

A man posted online that his girlfriend ‘ordered a Worst Mcmuffin from McDonalds in Maylands, Western Australia.

‘She chose option 1 because she didn’t want Egg (she’s pregnant). All other ingredients were clearly listed: “Sausage McMuffin: English Muffin, Beef Sausage, etc.”

But when the bag of food arrived, she was given an empty package and a note explaining: ‘Sausage egg contains eggs, muffins, sausage, cheese, it’s not all, so we just gave the package.’

‘What a world! It gave me a good chuckle, but hell hath no fury like a pregnant woman,” he wrote on Reddit.

The friend explained that his partner had ordered a “plain sausage McMuffin,” not a sausage and egg McMuffin, “with no additions or deletions.”

“Which makes it worse!” he wrote along with an image of the handwritten letter taped to the McDonald’s bag and empty packaging.

Commentators turned internet sleuths suggested theories about how the ‘McNothing’ mix-up happened.

‘I suspect the system simply said ‘no’ next to all the ingredients. You did this accidentally while ordering or a system problem occurred. Show the receipt,” someone said.

“I feel like we need to see a screenshot of the order to make sure she didn’t check ‘no’ on everything,” said another.

“Looks like we have an up and coming comedian at McDonalds,” a third commenter added.

In an edit, the friend addressed some comments and said that both the order history and the physical receipt show that all ingredients were removed, so I can’t prove that my friend didn’t do this intentionally or accidentally.

‘She also did not check the details in the shopping cart when she placed the order.

“However, she vehemently denies even opening the customization menu and I almost completely believe her.”

He added: ‘It’s very unlikely she went to the customization menu and removed the ingredients one by one, but I can’t prove she didn’t do that.’

Daily Mail Australia has contacted McDonald’s for comment.
