Pamela Anderson says she has ‘no intention’ of watching her own documentary ahead of its release

Pamela Anderson is seizing the opportunity to tell her story herself following the popularity of the Netflix drama Pam & Tommy.

The documentary, titled Pamela, A Love Story, is set to premiere on Netflix at the end of January, but the Baywatch star admitted he has “no intention” of watching it.

The 55-year-old actress, who will also premiere her memoir: Love, Pamela, has been interviewed extensively for it and has delivered hundreds of photos and home videos.

speaking to vanity fairPamela explained: ‘I haven’t seen the documentary, and I have no intention of seeing it.

‘I gave him full access to my files and journals, and I hope it makes sense to someone. I hope my story inspires people to have a good time and not worry so much.”

Pamela was deeply hurt by the description of how a sex tape made by her and her husband Tommy Lee became a global internet sensation on Pam & Tommy.

Her reactions to that show, as well as the breakdown of her marriage to Canadian builder Dan Hayhurst, feature heavily in the documentary.

She and Hayhurst met when he was hired to work at their home on Vancouver Island during the pandemic. They got married on Christmas Eve 2020, but broke up a year later.

The Syndicate followed her lightning wedding to producer Jon Peters. They separated 12 days after a marriage ceremony in Malibu.

The documentary was directed by Ryan White, who said: “Pamela wears her heart on her sleeve, not just in relationships but in everything in her life.”

“All of her husbands are part of her story, which is why they are in our film, including the most recent one.

“And no matter how many times it hasn’t worked out for her, she’s still a hopeless romantic looking for true love in every way.”

Last year, Pamela reportedly called the upcoming Hulu show Pam And Tommy, about her romance with Tommy Lee, “a joke and a cheap imitation.”

The show made headlines last week when the first images showed that Lily James, 32, and Sebastian Stan, 38, bore an uncanny resemblance to the iconic couple; however, it seems the model, 53, is less than impressed with the upcoming show.

The initiates said Sun that the star considers the show ‘God Scary’ to be ‘a joke’ and has never heard of Lily or Sebastian, who have already been praised for their transformation, albeit apparently without Pamela’s stamp of approval.

Pam And Tommy is based on the model’s three-year marriage to rock star Tommy, which saw them tie the knot in 1995 and take part in his famous sex tape.

She has never heard of the actors who play her or Tommy, and is not interested in meeting them. She and her family think the show is a cheap imitation.
