Elizabeth Hurley looked stunning in a new photoshoot on Thursday as she insisted her son Damian directing her racy sex scene ‘wasn’t a problem’.

The actress, 58, went braless in a mini dress with a sheer lace top and a red latex skirt as she posed in a vintage elevator.

Her son Damian, 22, recently made his directorial debut with Strictly Confidential, in which his mother gets hot-tempered with another woman.

The mystery drama follows Mia, played by CBBC star Georgia Lock, as she is drawn into a ‘world of sex, duplicity and betrayal’ as she attempts to solve the mystery surrounding the death of her best friend Rebecca near her family home in the unraveling the Caribbean.

Liz explained during the scenes how she “always promised” Damian that she would be in his first film after he “chased her around” during filmmaking in his youth.

She said The Telegraph: ‘People have a bit of a twist on it. But actually it wasn’t a problem for us at all, it was just one of the seven scenes we were filming that day.

‘It seemed like a very natural progression from the relationship we’d had. As a single mother of a single child, we have spent a lot of time together as standard, even though he went to boarding school for ten years.’

Liz recalled the ‘baby films’ Damian would make when he was younger, which often starred her friends, including Hugh Grant and her ex-fiancé Shane Warne.

“He pursued me a bit while making his baby films, until his mid-teens, and I always promised him I’d be in them when he finally made his first feature.”

In Damian’s directorial debut, Elizabeth plays a mother named Lily, who welcomes her daughter’s friends to her Caribbean estate the year after the mysterious deaths of her daughter and her husband.

During the journey, a number of secrets are revealed, including Lily’s love affair with her daughter’s friend.

Speak with PEOPLE About the film, Damian revealed that his mother Elizabeth “promised” to be in his first picture years ago, and when it was greenlit, she “dropped everything” to participate.

He said: ‘It was a pleasure to come to work and tackle every day together.’

“We only had 18 days to shoot the entire film, so our twin-like telepathy was invaluable throughout.”

“It was truly inspiring to work tirelessly with such a dedicated and talented cast. I am eternally grateful to everyone involved for their trust and belief in me.’

Damian praised his mother for keeping her promise to star in his first feature film during filming in December on the Caribbean island of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

In the new film, a young woman drowns near her childhood home in the Caribbean, and her loved ones struggle to come to terms with the tragedy.

The idea for the film’s plot came to the model, actor and filmmaker in the aftermath of the loss of a friend to suicide, as well as his biological father Steven Bing.

Speaking about the inspiration, Damian said Tatler: ‘I finally found a treatment that I had written when I was 17, in the aftermath of losing a close friend to suicide.

‘At the time I had shelved it because I decided I wasn’t ready to tell the story, but in the intervening three years I had lost a parent, also to suicide, and was forced to grow up quickly to become.

‘I realized I now had the experience to bring the script to life, and Strictly Confidential was born: the story of a young woman haunted by the suicide of her best friend and determined to find answers.’

Elizabeth fathered her only child during a short-lived relationship with Steve, not long after splitting from Hugh Grant in 2000.

She gave birth to Damian in 2002, but the businessman disputed paternity, claiming they had been in a non-exclusive relationship at the time.

Although a DNA test revealed that Bing was Damian’s father, he was not part of his life and it is believed that they never even met. Bing died in 2020 when he jumped from the 27th floor of his Los Angeles apartment building.

It comes after Elizabeth and her son Damian came under furious fire from a professional psychotherapist over their controversial new film collaboration, which saw the actress directed by her child while performing a lesbian sex scene.

While Elizabeth claimed to feel ‘liberated’ by having a family member around to film the challenging scenes, couples therapy star Dr Jenn Mann has criticized her actions.

According to the licensed marriage, family and child therapist, filming the scenes constitutes a major boundary crossing between parent and child, and she would advise against simulating sex in the presence of your child.

Jenn told TMZ that she found the actress’ comments about the scenes “liberating” and “bizarre” — and inconsistent with a healthy parent-child dynamic.

She told the publication that she believes that even though Damian is an adult, directing his own mother’s erotic scenes crosses the boundaries between parent and child.

Elizabeth previously told Access Hollywood that she felt “safe and cared for” during filming.

“It’s relaxing to know that there’s someone behind the camera watching you,” the Austin Powers star explained, adding that this was especially important when filming this movie.
