Nicole Richie is chic in a black-and-gold dress under a leather coat in NYC… after announcing a new show with her Simple Life costar Paris Hilton

Nicole Richie was spotted leaving the set of Good Morning after promoting her new show Summer Camp and reunion project with Paris Hilton on Wednesday.

The 42-year-old actress – who famously starred in The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007 – wore a black and yellow printed calf-length dress that clung to her body.

She added an edgy touch by adding a black leather trench coat and matching stiletto heels to her look.

Her blonde locks were slightly wavy and sat on her shoulders, contrasting with her black heart earrings.

The mother of two wears dark sunglasses and sings silver as she shows off her fresh manicure.

The firstborn of icon Lionel Richie opted for a soft, glamorous look that made her skin glow under the sun.

The stylish starlet gushed about her latest project with Paris Hilton on Good Morning America.

While the project won’t be a Simple Life reboot, it will mark the first time the best friends have worked together again in 20 years.

“We worked together to create something very special and exciting,” said the blonde beauty. “I can’t say much, but I can’t wait for it to come out.”

‘New Age. Same Besties Coming soon to Peacock,” she wrote.

She also talked about working on Summer Camp with Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates and Josh Peck.

“Obviously I lost my mind,” she said of working with a star-studded cast. ‘I couldn’t believe it, it’s unbelievable.’

The film can be seen in cinemas from May 31.

But those aren’t the only tricks she has up her sleeve. The actress can also be seen in Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, which begins streaming Thursday on BET+.

The announcement for Paris and Nicole’s new show was made just over a week ago by TMZ.

In the original show, the Hilton heiress and fashion designer traded Hollywood glitz for small-town America.

The five-season series aired between FOX and E! in the early 2000s.

The show’s premise revolved around taking the two wealthy socialites out of their comfort zones and placing them in everyday working-class situations, creating a culture clash comedy.

The socialites were seen taking on laborious chores such as cleaning, farm work and serving food.

The premise of the new series has not yet been revealed, although production sources shared that it will not be an exact copy of their previous series, nor will it have the same name.

They’ve already sold their pitch to a streamer, after reportedly talking about the project for months and trying to come up with ideas on how they could work together again.

However, the project is still in its early stages and nothing has been shot yet.

The field reportedly sparked an “all-out bidding war,” with James Corden’s production company, Fulwell 73, ultimately purchasing the rights to shoot on it.

Paris — who last month was featured on a heartbreaking new Sia song called Fame Won’t Love You — and Nicole seemed to be hinting at something on Wednesday when they both shared a nostalgic throwback collage of photos of them together.

They both captioned the post, “From Day 1: Sill and Bill,” referencing their nicknames for each other.

The show remains a beloved reality TV series among fans and produced the iconic line “That’s hot!” from Paris.

Another famous moment took place at Walmart supermarket, where Paris asked, ‘What is Walmart? Do they sell wall stuff?’

Hilton celebrated the show’s 20th anniversary by sharing a collage of throwback photos of herself and Richie on Instagram

The Simple Life celebrated its 20th anniversary last year.

For the occasion, Hilton posted some throwback photos of herself and Richie on Instagram.

‘Happy 20th anniversary [the] show that started it all, The Simple Life! Filming this series with @NicoleRichie was one of the most special, hilarious and iconic times of my life. I’m so lucky to have these amazing memories!’ she wrote in the caption.

Richie also joined the occasion and shared some highlights from her and Hilton’s Simple Life.

“Twenty years ago we didn’t just become television stars… we became songwriters,” she wrote humorously in the caption. “Happy anniversary Sill @parishilton.”
