Nicole Kidman made a surprise appearance in Sydney on Friday, delighting fans at the Practical Magic 2 screening at HOYTS Cinemas Entertainment Quarter.
Viewers at the special screening were stunned to see the Hollywood star, 59, react to her sudden arrival with loud cheers and applause as she announced: “I couldn’t let you have margaritas without me!”
As she entered the theater, the Australian actress looked decades younger than her age in an ivory satin and lace floral dress from Erdem’s Resort 2027 collection.
The gown featured delicate embroidery of red roses and draped detailing, with Kidman pairing the dress with a set of bright red pumps.
“It’s really wonderful to still be here 28 years later, as women,” Kidman told the crowd. “So thank you for decades of support. I love you.’
The movie star further revealed that she flew to Australia to surprise her fans Down Under after walking the red carpet for the premiere in Los Angeles on Monday.

It comes after Kidman made headlines with her cheerful antics at the Practical Magic 2 premiere in LA on Monday night.
The Aussie A-lister attended the US premiere of the highly anticipated sequel to the 1998 romantic fantasy film alongside co-stars Sandra Bullock, Maisie Williams and Joey King.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight shared online this week, Kidman was asked which designer she was wearing.
At one point she stumbled over her words and asked the interviewer, “Huh?” before rambling, “This is Versace. Have fun. Let’s party!’

In the sequel, Bullock, 62, reprises her role as Sally Owens alongside Kidman as her sister Gillian, two witches trying to live normal lives despite their family curse.
The film marks Bullock’s first film project in four years following her hiatus from acting.
Set 25 years after the original film, the film is an adaptation of Alice Hoffman’s 2021 follow-up story, The Book of Magic.
The sequel also brings back Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest, who played Kidman and Bullock’s eccentric aunts in the original film.
Practical Magic 2 doesn’t hit theaters until September 10.
