The football legend, 46, appeared on Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast where he was asked who he would sing, marry or avoid, Wayne, 40, Gary Lineker, 65, and Alan Shearer, 56.
The fun game saw Michael choose between the three attackers, with the sportsman joking that he didn’t want to sleep with Wayne because ‘he’s a bit too hairy’.
Explaining his reasoning for why Wayne would be the one he would marry, he said, “I will marry Waza. I certainly don’t want to fuck him. A bit too hairy for me. He’s so funny. He can laugh so well.
‘I don’t think it would go that well. I think we were going to break up. A little too much alcohol I think.’
Wayne has previously been open about his struggles with alcohol over the years.

Michael then confirmed that he would sing Lineker and avoid Shearer.
‘Three good strikers. It’s not a nice question, is it? I don’t care about avoiding anything. I’m just imagining the damn bit.”

‘Kissing your child, sending him to school, whatever he does, you keep saying, well done, and if he does nonsense, [saying] “Oh, you’re trying really hard.” No, I like tough love.
“I’m not trying to condone it because I’d like to be a little soft.
‘I think it also comes with age, you get better when you’re old, you have time to think a little more and you realize the true meaning of things.
“I’m definitely softening, but still not softened enough to say something like that.”
