Michael, who will reprise his role as Batman in the upcoming The Flash, has teamed up with the Luckyest Girl Alive star to play married art dealer Andy Goodrich and daughter from his first marriage, Grace.
In the film, Goodrich is in a bit of trouble when his much younger wife goes to 90-day rehab, leaving him with their nine-year-old twins.
Grace is pregnant and Andy begins to lean on her for help learning the ins and outs of modern fatherhood.
As a result, he becomes the father Grace has always wanted.
Michael played a fish out of water in the comedy Mr. Mom from 1981.
He starred as an unemployed father who stays home to care for the kids when his wife returns to work to support the family.
Filming begins next month in Los Angeles, so the cast and crew won’t have to travel to a snowy location for the Christmas-themed shoot.
Michael serves as an executive producer on the project. Extra strong casting is reportedly in the works.
