The design appeared to spell out “LB” in flowery, cursive text with a superscript “2” at the end.
And now Daily Mail can reveal the body art is a tribute to her two children: son Louis, 16, and 12-year-old daughter Laila Bullock.
She revealed the cryptic new tattoo, leaving many wondering if it could be a tribute to her family.
Eagle-eyed fans spotted the tattoo on the back of her shoulder thanks to her leopard print off-the-shoulder Givenchy dress.
Fans on social media quickly suspected that the ambiguous design could refer to the names of those closest to the actress: her two children and Bryan Randall, who died in 2023 after a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

The event marked the first time in two years since that her costar Stockard Channing attended a red carpet event her move to London for a more ‘reclusive’ life.
Earlier this week, Bullock shared how she told her children about Randall’s diagnosis before his death.
The late model died in August 2023 at the age of 57 after a three-year battle with ALS, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
The Oscar winner dated the late model for eight years prior to his tragic death, and they went on hiatus for about six years after his death.
She said her son Louis and daughter Laila were “fully aware” of Randall’s illness.
The actress said her children were “very astute” while Randall privately battled the disease when she appeared on Monday’s episode of the series. SlimLess podcast.
‘Oh, completely aware. Definitely conscious because once there’s a situation where you’re bedridden, that’s where we all end up having to go,” she said.
“It was in my house, and I did my best to set up everything I could, and I’m fortunate that I had the means to pay for it.”
Fans quickly suspected that the design could reference the names of those closest to the actress: her children and her late partner, Bryan Randall, who died in August 2023 after a battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

Bullock also shared how she would talk to her children and how they responded during the difficult time as Randall became increasingly ill.
‘They could see it. They have eyes. And they are very, very smart kids,” she said.
She added that her children are “very perceptive because they not only see the physical change, [but] there is behavior that changes in all of us.’
“Louis took a very different approach to Laila,” she recalled.
“About two years before Bryan passed away, he saw that it was a dynamic that wasn’t healthy for him to be around. So he has evolved a lot. He says, ‘You know what? I’m here for you.’
‘I didn’t want him to be the man of the family at that age. My job [was] to be both at that moment.’
Bullock added, “I want him to be a kid during a pandemic when everything is already broken and people are suffering everywhere.”
“So when I asked for help, I felt guilty because everyone else was already suffering,” Bullock admitted.

“But he chose to just be there and support me and help me with the things that were easy for me.”
The actress said her eldest child “smartly broke away and said, ‘This is a safer place for me to sit.’ And I said, ‘Absolutely, go ahead.'”
She said her daughter was able to be with Randall more often and for longer during the difficult time.
“Laila, on the other hand, was more bonded until about six months,” Bullock recalls. “And then she says, ‘Can you please say no when they call me to visit?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely.’
“And I said, ‘But if you still want to visit, I’ll come with you, and I’ll be there.’ And when you knock, I’ll be there.”
Bullock also explained that she used another side of their home to give her children space when they requested it.
Bullock and Randall first became romantically involved after meeting in 2015.
They made their first public appearance together in August of that same year at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding.

“After everything she went through with Bryan, she needed time to take care of herself,” an insider told People in April.
“She spent a lot of time healing, being with her children and being at home.”
