Marc Price doesn’t look like this anymore! Family Ties star, 55, known for his role as iconic character Skippy, looks unrecognizable as he appears on live TV

Family Ties star Marc Price looked almost unrecognizable when he appeared live on TV Friday on Today Extra.

The actor and comedian, now 55, rose to fame in the iconic sitcom as much-loved character Irwin ‘Skippy’ Handelman.

Marc appeared on the show as a teenager in the 1980s, working alongside star Michael J. Fox.

He told hosts Sylvia Jeffreys and Richard Wilkins that he would like to take a trip down memory lane and talk about his time on the hit show.

Speaking of his role, Marc said he learned so much from the show from both the cast and crew.

“How exciting can it be, it’s still great to be a teenager, you’re young and skinny and to work with Michael J. Fox, the crew and producers, that was my college,” said Marc.

“I was very blessed to be part of a great show.”

He said he is still in touch with former co-star Michael and often helps him raise money for his foundation, which helps fund research into Parkinson’s disease, which Michael was diagnosed with at age 29.

Marc said Michael is an inspiration to him because he has such a positive attitude to life despite his diagnosis.

“We get together for reunions and things like that and visits and I get to raise money for his foundation,” Marc said.

“When you read his book you see how he lives his life and takes care of his family and is not put off by anything and it is such a lesson for all of us,” he said.

He added that he does not want to go back to Australia for stand-up comedy shows in the future.

“I love the Aussie comedians and can’t wait to return,” said Marc.
