Sex addict ‘Dirty Doctor’, 40, is facing the end of his career after filming himself having sex with women in his surgery while patients waited outside and sending pics to his lovers

A doctor who filmed himself having sex with women in his practice while patients waited outside is facing the end of his career.

Self-confessed sex addict Dr Tom Plimmer, 40, who appeared on Channel 4 show First Dates in 2018, showed a colleague his homemade porn videos he had made in the consulting room of his Swindon practice.

He then sent a nurse 197 photos and videos of him having sex with dozens of women after she was forced into a relationship with him.

Panel chair Claire Lindley ruled that Dr. Plimmer to practice currently is affected by misconduct.

The Medical Practitioners Tribunal heard how Dr Plimmer invited two women he met on dating sites to the practice for sex during working hours.

He had sex with at least six women in his practice and sent photos of his penis to his loved ones while he waited for the next patient to come in from the waiting room.

During his evidence at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) hearing in Manchester, he had apologized to his former lovers and patients for his ‘disgusting’ behaviour.

Dr. Plimmer was previously found guilty of a series of accusations against his colleague, including walking around with his trousers undone, sending unsolicited videos and putting her hand on his erect penis.

A new charge was also brought against him for committing sexual acts in the operating room.

The colleague had told the hearing that she had begun a “jovial” friendship with Dr Plimmer with playful “innuendo” about a chocolate bunny.

But from March 2018, he confided in her about his sex addiction and shared around 5,000 phone messages with her.

One message read: ‘Can I tell you a secret? You are my favorite.’

Dr. Plimmer was previously found guilty of a series of accusations against his colleague, including walking around with his trousers undone, sending unsolicited videos and putting her hand on his erect penis.

On one occasion, in January 2019, he led her into his doctor’s office before placing her hand on his genitals.

Dr. Plimmer later sent her photos of his head in a noose, saying he “couldn’t go any further.”

The doctor told the hearing earlier this week that he was ‘recovering’ with the support of his long-term partner, taking medication and attending Sex Addicts Anonymous.

Dr. Plimmer insisted he had never crossed boundaries with patients and compared himself to tragic Friends actor Matthew Perry.

He said: ‘Matthew Perry was a drug addict but he would never use heroin. Why do you take all drugs but not heroin?’

Dr. Plimmer said he knew sleeping with his patients would be “terminal” to his career.

Mark Monaghan, GMC, accepted that the doctor did not pose any risk to patients, but added: ‘Our concerns are primarily about confidence in the profession.’

Tom Day, who represented Dr Plimmer, said at the hearing: ‘I respectfully submit that he poses no risk to patients and there is no impairment on that basis. The risk of relapse is low.

“If he worked, he would need circumstances to support him.”

Panel chair Claire Lindley ruled that Dr. Plimmer to practice is currently being affected due to misconduct.

They have yet to decide what sanctions to impose on Plimmer.

Between May 2018 and September 2019, he approached her during lunch breaks and stood in the doorway, making it difficult for her to leave.

He also entered the room with his pants undone.

In September 2019, he allegedly threatened to tell her husband about their affair.

He suggested she commit suicide, saying, “On Futurama they have suicide booths. Maybe that’s what you need, that’s what you should do.’

Dr. Plimmer agreed that he sent the woman explicit videos and engaged in sexual behavior, but claimed it was “always consensual.”

He faced 16 charges related to the co-worker, including trying to kiss her without consent, approaching her with his pants undone and showing her a video of him having sex with another woman while he was at work .

He denied two allegations that he had penetrated the same colleague without consent, that he removed his genitals in front of her, that he slammed a door and punched her arm and threatened to reveal information to her husband.

These accusations were found not to be proven.

Dr. Plimmer had also engaged in sexual activity with Miss B in January 2020 and Miss C in May 2020 during the working hours of his operation.

He had admitted sending unsolicited photos of his penis, taken while he was at work, to another woman known as Miss E.

It also withdrew claims that he pinned the woman – who is among those who reported him to GMC – to a bed and shouted words to the effect of ‘don’t talk to someone who f***** you *** ****’.

The panel also ruled that his actions were sexually motivated.

Plimmer will be sanctioned on a date to be determined.
