Love Island’s Davide Addresses Engagement Rumors With Girlfriend Ekin-Su While Talking About THAT Ring He Gave Her
He recently gave her a beautiful ring that sparked engagement rumors with his partner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
And Davide Saclimenti, 28, of Love Island, opened up about his love for his Dancing On Ice girlfriend, during an interview on Good Morning Britain on Monday.
Asked if they are engaged, he said: “In Rome we promise rings so now we are officially together and we live together, although we are not getting married yet.”

Asked if they were engaged, Davide said: “In Rome we promise rings so now we’re officially together and we live together, although we’re not getting married yet.”
‘I wanted to buy her a ring and give it to her for Christmas. I bought her an engagement ring. Yeah, no, they weren’t engaged!! It’s an engagement ring.
Davide and Ekin-Su, also 28, shared a video of her receiving the ring while sitting at a rooftop table with a stunning view of Rome at Christmas time.
Davide gave her a large white bag and Ekin-Su laughed as she began to open the gift.
As Andrea Bocelli’s song Time to Say Goodbye played, Ekin-Su opened the ring box and Davide placed the ring on her ring finger.
Confused? Ekin-Su and Davide left fans asking for answers after sharing a clip of a romantic moment from their trip to Rome in Italy.
And during his latest interview, Davide talked about his girlfriend’s ending at the Dancing On Ice ball.
He said: ‘I was there watching her live from the audience, I think she’s doing well, obviously not just because she’s my girlfriend.
“She is a strong woman, she knows what she wants, I think this will push her to try harder and get what she wants.”
He continued: ‘It’s good for her because she’ll push herself even though she was sad for a few hours at first. At the end of the day, this is the show, this is how it goes.
Rooting for her: And during his latest interview, Davide opened up about his girlfriend’s ending at the Dancing On Ice dance.
He said: ‘I was there watching her live from the audience, I think she’s doing well, obviously not just because she’s my girlfriend’
Addressing the rumors, he was asked to be on the show and said, ‘If Ekin goes out and I go in, I have to win!
‘Haha no, I went to see her once and they gave me some ice skates and I think they were actually surprised how well I could stand on my feet.
‘Next year, if I have the possibility [to go on Dancing On Ice]so I hope Ekin will be there supporting me.’
Davide also gave advice to the new islander wannabe, as the show will kick off on Monday night.
He said: ‘Go for yourself, not for fame. Go fall in love and find someone.
Romance: The former Love Island winners traveled to Davide’s home nation before Christmas, where they presented Ekin-Su with a gleaming Cartier ring.
