Her split comes shortly after Grace and Reuben Collins split after they found it difficult to keep their relationship going in the outside world due to their busy schedules and long-distance relationship.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Reuben confirmed their relationship is over, and revealed that things haven’t been easy since leaving the ITV2 show as he’s dealt with the death of his beloved grandfather.

He explained: ‘I can’t speak for her, but since we’ve been here it’s been quite busy and there’s a lot to do.

Her split comes shortly after Grace and Reuben Collins split after struggling to make things work in the outside world due to their busy schedules and long-distance relationship.

“And for me, before I went in, we were taking care of my grandpa who was living with us because he had terminal cancer. When I came out, I had a week with him before he passed.”

‘So when we went out and started dealing with the new environment and things at home, there was a lot going on and we were both very busy.

‘I’m mentally strong and I try to stay as positive as possible, but when I came back I had a lot to process.’

Reuben was still with Grace when his grandfather died. She was “very supportive” of him and sent him flowers, he said.

He added: ‘We’ve both been very busy and with the long distance it’s been difficult. I wish her all the best, she wishes me all the best. There are no bad feelings. We’ve had a great experience together.’

Reuben spoke about his goal to find love on the show: ‘My family and grandpa wanted me to be on it. My grandpa said I should do it because it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and he was watching and cheering us on.

‘The point of the show is to find love, but I think the most important thing for my family is that I had a great experience and if I could find love on top of that, that would be a huge bonus.

‘I’m a hopeless romantic myself, so of course I want to find love.’
