Jade Thirwall has sent her fans into a frenzy after releasing her debut single Angel Of My Dreams on Friday.
The 31-year-old former Little Mix singer has been dropping hints about her new music in recent weeks and her followers weren’t disappointed, raving that it was “everything they could have ever wanted.”
And Jade didn’t hold back in the video clip and discovered a new side of her musical style outside of the band.
She describes the song as her “love/hate letter to the music industry” and the video opens with flashbacks to clips of Jade performing as a child and her original solo audition for the X Factor.
The singer then performs as different characters throughout the video as she changes her look, starting with a furry blue jacket and platinum blonde hair on her head.

And Jade didn’t hold back in the music video as she explored a new side of her music style outside of the band, styling a red-haired fringe in the music video
Later in the video, she dances through the streets dressed as an angel, all in white, before being replaced by a red-haired version of herself.
The album was written in LA by Jade, along with Steph Jones (Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso), Pablo Bowman (Calvin Harris’ Miracle) and producer Mike Sabbath (RAYE).
Jade shared the track’s release on Twitter, writing: ‘Angel Of My Dreams is officially out and I don’t know whether to cry, laugh or shit my pants.
“This song means everything to me – my love-hate letter to the music industry, telling my story from the beginning of my journey to now.”
She joked, “It’s the perfect introduction and launch into my world as a solo artist, so get ready lolllll.”
She thanked her team and continued: ‘@Mike SabathMusic Pablo Bowman @iamstephjones I can’t explain how grateful I am to have been able to create this magic with you guys. What a dream team.
‘thank you for letting our creative minds merge and run wild. I’m proud of us for throwing the pop rulebook out the window.’
She concluded, “Thank you to my entire team, from the beginning of my solo project until now – your unwavering belief in this and willingness to support me in whatever I wanted, gave me the creative freedom I needed to become JADE.”

Jade is the latest member of the Little Mix trio to release her solo music, after both Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards launched their new music.
Leigh-Anne was the first of the three to showcase her new sound, after releasing her debut single Don’t Say Love in June 2023.
In September, My Love with Ayra Starr followed and in May she released her album No Hard Feelings.
Meanwhile, Perrie released her hit Forget About Us in April, which reached number ten in the UK charts.
Her second song, Tears, was released in June and fans are eagerly awaiting her full album.
