Lila Moss poses in plunging vest top and slinky mini dress for edgy new shoot as she reveals her surprising childhood ambition

Lila Moss’ modeling career is flourishing and her latest high-profile shoot is with Interview magazine sees the rising star in a series of sharp glances.

Kate Moss’ daughter, 21, stuns in one sultry photo, posing in a low-cut white top, while another sees her showing off her legs in a flowing green mini dress.

Lila’s friend, influencer Devon Lee Carlson, interviewed her for the piece and wanted to know if she always wanted to follow her mother, 50, into fashion.

‘I used to want to be a teacher. Being around kids makes you more fun and crazy,” Lila admitted.

Although she wanted to take a different path in her career, Lila admitted that she has loved fashion since she was little. She remembers how she and her school friends used to make their own magazines for her mother Kate.

‘Me and Iris would make magazines together. I was always looking forward to it. We would dress up, do a photo shoot, put it together in a Word document and print it out,” she laughed.

Echoing her father, Dazed & Confused publisher Jefferson Hack, Lila added, “We actually made it to give to my mom for her birthday. So there’s a copy somewhere.’

And Lila had the perfect closet to raid to inspire her, as she added, “I used to dress up in my mom’s closet.”

‘I also looked up to my mother in the sense that I would want her black cardigans from Saint Laurent, or I would wear black leggings and all black and gray. I was so picky from day one.”

“We were talking yesterday, my mom and I, about how all the fights we had when I was younger were about clothes and how I didn’t want to wear white socks.”

Lila has long been compared to her famous mother with their similar striking looks and tall, slim frames.

And she’s certainly discovering that looking like one of the world’s biggest supermodels pays off, as she’s almost tripled her earnings in one year.

The recently published accounts of Lila’s own company Grace Grove Ltd show that her salary has risen from £129,458 in 2022 to £359,433 in 2023.

It is evidence of a very successful year for Lila after she campaigned for the likes of Pepe Jeans, an international denim brand based on Portobello Road in Notting Hill.

She also starred in a campaign for the French brand Maje last year and is currently walking in several exclusive shows for Paris Fashion Week, or standing next to Kate on the front row.

After being signed to her mother’s Kate Moss Agency at the age of 15, Lila became the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty in 2018.

She made her catwalk debut for Italian fashion house Miu Miu in 2020, became an ambassador for YSL and made headlines when she walked the pink carpet during Victoria’s Secret World Tour last year.

Lila has been hit with quite a few accusations of nepotism – the most recent being when she appeared in Edward Enninful’s latest edition of Vogue called Legendary, alongside the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Victoria Beckham.
