Katie Price, 45, tells friends she is planning a baby with new boyfriend JJ Slater, 31, and ‘doesn’t want to wait until it’s too late’

Katie Price, 45, is planning to have a child with her boyfriend of five months, JJ Slater, 31.

Friends of the mum-of-five reveal she is keen to try for a child with Married At First Sight star JJ before ‘it’s too late.’

Katie turns 46 in May, as a friend spreads the word The sun she’s ready to take her future family plans seriously: “She’s happy and she’s always said she wants more children, so that’s what she’s aiming for.”

“She knows she doesn’t have much time if she wants to try,” the insider added. ‘Katie has always gotten pregnant quite easily in the past, but now that she’s older she’s worried this won’t happen anytime soon, so she doesn’t want to wait until it’s too late.

‘Katie knows some people will think it’s too soon with JJ, but she doesn’t care what other people think – she’s confident in their relationship and thinks he would be a great dad.’

The former glamor model has five children: eldest son Harvey, 21, whose father is Dwight Yorke and Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, with ex-husband Peter Andre.

She also has ten-year-old Jett and eight-year-old Bunny, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

Last year, Katie heartbreakingly discussed her failed IVF attempt when she tried to have baby number six with her ex-fiancé Carl Woods.

Speaking to Michelle Visage on her Rule Breakers podcast, Katie spoke about her hopes to expand her brood with Carl.

The host asked, “Are you done having babies?”

“No, are you kidding me?” replied Katie, before adding: ‘I tried IVF last year and it failed – so I’m going to try again, try again. I do not give up. I need more babies.”

Michelle asked, “Do you have frozen eggs?”

“No, unfortunately I can only use what I have,” Katie explained.

Katie appeared on the Turning Adversity Into An Asset podcast in May 2023 and revealed she doesn’t think she could carry another baby herself.

She said: ‘I have a surrogate, I’m out of eggs, I’m 44, I want another baby, so what do I do? I can’t get it out.’

When host Lewis Raymond Taylor asked who would have the baby, Katie said: “I’ve got this lady, it’ll be my egg – she’s been a fan of mine for years and she does surrogacy.”

When asked who the father would be, Katie replied: ‘If I was with anyone it would be with them, otherwise it would be a sperm donor.’

Earlier this month, JJ spoke to MailOnline about his five-month romance with Katie, revealing the couple are already talking about marriage.

The British Married At First Sight star, 31, who is 14 years younger than Katie, spoke exclusively to MailOnline about his relationship with 45-year-old Katie, which he says makes him very ‘happy’.

After Katie contacted JJ in December to send her well wishes following his diabetes diagnosis, the pair met for a quiet coffee, and the attraction between them was immediate.

And now JJ, who shot to fame with the E4 series last year, wishes Katie could have been waiting for him at the end of the altar as he admits he has fallen head over heels in love with the former glamor model.

He even confesses that he messaged Katie years ago in an attempt to start a romance, but was ignored until he caught the TV star’s attention when she was watching the Channel 4 show.

JJ said: ‘It wasn’t something I was looking for… I’d been on Married At First Sight UK, which was a stressful and intense experience, but with Kate and I… it just happened very naturally.

‘We met for coffee and met as friends, and we got on really well and it developed from there, which was really nice. There was no pressure, we were both just really into each other and liked each other.

“Kate even reached out when she heard about my diabetes diagnosis and said she was so sorry to hear about it and again, this is how something good came out of it… is Kate. She was nice, which I appreciated, and it went from there…

‘Of course she’s obviously a very, very attractive lady and I really like her, she’s my girlfriend now… but I always thought she was fit.’

Katie’s romantic life has included being married three times and engaged eight times, including to ex-partners Warren Furman, Scott Sullivan, Leandro Penna, Kris Boyson and most recently former Love Island contestant Carl Woods.

Meanwhile, JJ took part in a TV wedding last year, where he married Bianca Petronzi, before starting a new romance with Ella Morgan, the Channel 4 show’s first transgender bride.

But the clothing brand owner’s experience on the reality series – and Katie’s three failed marriages – hasn’t stopped him from settling down with the model and says they are already planning their future together.

He said: ‘It would have been ideal on Married At First Sight if I was at the altar and I turned around and it was Kate walking down. It would have saved a lot of time.

“We said the L word. The thing is, we get along so well and have so much fun together.

‘All I really want to do is make sure Kate is happy, support her and be there for her. If she’s happy, it means I’m doing something right.

‘We’re both adults and I wouldn’t be with someone if I didn’t see a future with them. So that’s how I see it… we’re not together to waste each other’s time… we’re adults, so of course I see a future with her.
