Influencer Lorna Luxe, 41, was left stunned earlier this week when her husband John, 62, was criticized over their 21-year age difference.
The star, real name Lorna Andrews, posted a video on Instagram answering questions about their romance – revealing they had been married for 15 years, had a 21-year age difference and purposefully chose not to have children.
While many praised her for opening up about their romance, some cruel social media users criticized her former banker husband for their age difference.
Despicable critics compared John to Jimmy Savile, who was hailed as a philanthropic TV star before being exposed as one of Britain’s most prolific pedophiles – who allegedly abused children from the mid-1940s until 2009, two years before his death.
As well as showing similarities between John and Savile, he was also branded a ‘predator’ – something she addressed in a video the next day, saying: ‘I think you were as shocked as I was… It just became a don’t you mean a bit?’

Lorna and John met when she was 25, in the middle of her eight-year stint as a flight attendant at Virgin Atlantic, before marrying shortly afterwards in New York and living together in Hove, East Sussex, and later Horsham and now Warwickshire.
While the sixty-something previously worked as a banker, following his stage three cancer diagnosis last year and Lorna’s continued success as an influencer, he gave up his job to focus on his health and help his wife find work.
Amid much fascination about their age gap romance, Lorna took to Instagram on Sunday to share a sweet video of the couple detailing their love story.
About a sweet video of them sitting on the street, she wrote: ‘Age difference of 21 years. Married for 15 years. He is a Libra. He dresses himself. I don’t pay the bills, but my company pays for our lifestyle. We don’t share a bathroom, but we do share clothes…
“We don’t have children and that was a choice, not a situation.”
She added a caption: ‘Frequently asked questions… I love seeing John blossom after a difficult year, he is in the energy of his main character and I couldn’t be more proud to have him by my side. I love this man x’.
Followers quickly flooded the comments section, with vile trolls writing: ’21 years difference, no it’s not love is love. HIS DADDY ISSUES ARE DADDY ISSUES…

“There’s definitely a Jimmy Saville feel to these kinds of age gaps… except when he’s well into his 60s or early 70s, then you’re in your prime and things slow down for him.”
The next day, she shared a selfie video taken in the couple’s car, commenting on the unkind nature of the comments.
Lorna said: ‘I think you were as shocked as I was. I couldn’t get my head around it. It’s just so nuanced, isn’t it?… It just got a little mean, right?…
‘We had a bit of a laugh yesterday, didn’t we? What do you say when someone accuses your husband of being Jimmy Saville?’
Her defenders quickly intervened, with one user writing: “But Saville’s comment. People are weird. stay yourself ❤️ I love your story’.
Last year, Lorna spoke to The Times about their relationship and how they divide their money and work flow, saying: ‘When I met him I was a flight attendant earning £12,000 a year. So there was definitely a cash imbalance…
“But we just share everything, and because it’s gone over the other side, it’s never been an issue. It got to the point where John going to work every day was costing us money because we had to turn down jobs and he couldn’t take my photos…
“So we decided he would leave the bench. It took him two years. He left in December and was diagnosed with cancer in January.”

John is currently in remission for stage three cancer
