While many Brits will have enjoyed a holiday along the English coast or a cheap getaway to a cheap resort in England Spain this summer, some celebrities have been having a blast.
Jamie Oliver jetted off with his family on a dreamy island escape earlier this month, and his wife Jools shared photos of their “magical vacation” on Instagram.
Commentators suspected the celebrity chef had been to Tresco, a beautiful retreat in the Isles of Scilly frequented by members of the Royal family.
“Another magical island holiday almost over,” Jools wrote, recalling how “River learned to ride a bike.”
Jamie also enjoyed a staycation in July and took his two sons, Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver and River Rocket Blue Dallas Oliver, to the Isle of Mull and Edinburgh for a long weekend in Scotland.
The trip seemed to be full of good food and fun for the chef and his family, as he shared photos from the break on his Instagram stories.
They saw Snow Patrol perform at Edinburgh Castle, Daily record reports, on the occasion of his youngest son’s very first concert.

Meanwhile, Stacey Solomon enjoyed a luxurious getaway with her two eldest sons in Miami in May
The trio managed to fit in a little bit of everything, from sightseeing in the city to catching the ferry to Mull.
Meanwhile, other stars have also enjoyed several lavish trips this summer. For example, Stacey Solomon has left with her family three times in recent months.
The TV star left for Miami with her two eldest sons in May and described the cost-free PR holiday with make-up brand Space NK as a ‘trip of a lifetime’. She told how she was ‘forever grateful’ for the chance to spend quality time with her sons.
The trio appeared to have a splash in the pool together, watch the sunset on the beach and even take a boat ride, accompanied by other celebrities like footballer Korey Smith and JLS star Marvin Humes.
But that wasn’t the only journey for Stacey, who has five children and is married to actor and television host Joe Swash.
The star also headed out for a sunny getaway earlier this month, this time with her entire family, including her sister Jemma Solomon.
Stacey has shared countless photos on her social media – from playing in the pool with her sister and young children to relaxing on the beach.
In one post, she explained how she taught her daughter Belle “how to swim and jump in without her swimming aid.”
For Stacey’s third outing, she and her family headed to Los Angeles to see iconic landmarks, including the Hollywood Sign and the Walk of Fame.

The break was filled with shopping, watching the parades, trying Mickey Mouse-shaped snacks and going on rides. Rochelle gushed: ‘Core memories unlocked and it’s only day 1.’
As for the Beckhams, Victoria and David have enjoyed a superyacht summer this year, cruising around several countries in Europe on a £16 million ship. One stop was Portofino, on the Italian Riviera, where Victoria shared a photo of her and David with the sea behind them.
They also managed to visit the Amalfi Coast earlier this month and enjoyed five-star luxury at the Borgo Santandrea hotel.
Perched on a dramatic cliff overlooking the fishing village of Conca dei Marini, it is one of the most breathtaking locations on the coast.
There are 31 rooms and 21 suites, some with infinity pools and terraces, and three beautifully situated restaurants and a private beach.
While prices start at £719 per room, per night, the premium pool suite – which features a private heated pool – can cost more than £6,000 per night.

It seems to have been a real superyacht summer and many, like the Beckhams, have swapped villas for the sea this year.
James Packer was spotted jet skiing in the Mediterranean in July, with his $200 million superyacht floating nearby.
Jennifer Aniston also went hunting to Mallorca, along with her boyfriend Jim Curtis and friends Courteney Cox and Pedro Pascal.
The group went snorkeling, kayaking and enjoyed time aboard the Rising Sun Yacht, which is equipped with its own cinema and helicopter landing pad.
Selena Gomez and her husband Benny Blanco were also spotted cruising off a yacht in the sunshine along the coast of France.
The pair were seen launching themselves from the luxury vessel and diving into the crystal clear waters.
Other celebrities have opted for Mediterranean getaways on land, including Kylie Minogue who holidayed on the French island of Corsica.
