Harry Potter star Nick Frost has secretly welcomed a fourth child with his partner Hayley.
The 54-year-old, who will play Hagrid in HBO’s new television adaptation of JK Rowling’s books, confirmed this week that the couple now have a six-month-old baby.
Speaking about the Inside you On the Michael Rosenbaum podcast, Nick also hinted that he and Hayley have quietly gotten married, repeatedly calling her his “wife.”
He said, ‘My damn kids keep me young. I have a six month old, one is four, one is eight, and I have a big, big fifteen year old boy.
“And it’s so interesting that I still… I don’t feel old at all when it comes to being able to zip around with these kids.”
Nick – who shares his eldest son Mac with his first wife, TV executive Christina Lesbirel, and the youngest three with Hayley – has not revealed the baby’s name or gender.
Hayley and Nick have never been photographed together and her last name is unknown.
Explaining why they chose to have another child, he said: “I’m 54 and like I said to Hayley, if we’re going to do this… you know, I don’t want to be like Pacino or Mick Jagger. I don’t want to be that kind of father.’

Rolling Stones frontman Mick was 73 when his partner Melanie Hamrick gave birth to their son Deveraux in 2016, making him a father for the eighth time.
Hollywood star Al Pacino was 83 when he welcomed son Roman with film producer Noor Alfallah in 2023.
Nick, who shot to fame alongside Simon Pegg in the Cornetto trilogy including Shaun of the Dead, then detailed his family life with Hayley, whose surname has not been publicly revealed.
“I’m happy to be here with Hayley and my four children,” he said. ‘We put the kids to bed, and Hayley and I go to bed at eight o’clock, have a cup of tea and watch some movie.
“We’re watching My 600-lb Life. And that’s it. That’s my life. And I fucking love it.”
Nick and his first wife Christina, whom he married in 2008, welcomed their son in 2011 before splitting in 2013 and divorcing two years later.
He announced the arrival of his third child – his second with Hayley – in August 2021 by sharing a photo of himself on Instagram leaving the hospital with the newborn in a car seat.
‘And then there were 3 more!!!! (So children!),” he wrote in the post at the time.
On the podcast, Nick referred to Hayley as his wife several times, suggesting the couple have since married without publicly announcing the news.
Nick said this week: ‘I have a six month old, one is four, one is eight, and I have a big, big boy who is fifteen’ (given the announcement of the birth of his third child in 2021)
The actor is on friendly terms with his ex-wife Christina Frost, with whom he co-parents first child, son Mac, who is now 15 (pictured in 2014)
Speaking about the difference between himself at work and at home, he said: ‘To my wife’s chagrin – and I’m sure my first wife’s – I’m a better person when I’m on set than when I’m at home.’
Nick and Hayley’s latest family addition comes as he prepares for one of the biggest roles of his career after being cast as Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid in HBO’s Harry Potter series.
He will take over the role made famous by Robbie Coltrane, who played Hagrid in all eight Harry Potter films before his death in 2022.
The new series premieres on Christmas Day and the first season is based on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Nick said the filming schedule has allowed him to remain closely involved in day-to-day family life, despite now having four children.
He said, “It’s a really nice schedule when you have a lot of kids because there’s a lot of time when I take the kids to school and pick them up.
‘We go to Scouts, we go to football. It’s really beneficial to have a family in the house.”
