Harrison’s irritating response when asked “where’s your wife?” after attending the MAFS dinner without Bronte, as she vows to resign at the upcoming commitment ceremony
Harrison Boon came under fire during Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight when he showed up to dinner alone and without his wife, Bronte Schofield.
The 32-year-old builder was questioned by his co-stars about Bronte’s absence and had an infuriating response when asked about it by Melinda Willis.
‘Where is your wife?’ Melinda asked Harrison at the dinner table.
‘Why are you here having dinner when you don’t have your wife? [here]?’ she added.
‘Am I not allowed to go out with my friends?’ she fired back.

He then went on to explain that his wife, 28, said she was “done” with the experiment and “wanted to go home.”
“I sat down with Bronte this morning and she said once again that she can’t do this, she’s done and she can’t put any more into this. So yeah, I had a bit of a rough day,” she explained.

During their conversation, Bronte broke down in tears, saying that she felt like she was constantly “attacked” by her co-stars for setting her up with Harrison.
‘I’ve stood up for you, I think I’ve been a very good wife to you… I can’t keep going in circles. You and I are not good. Obviously tonight, I’m not going to dinner,” she said.
“I don’t see how you and I can top the damage inflicted on each other and by the group,” he added.
During their conversation, Bronte broke down in tears, saying that she felt like she was constantly “attacked” by her co-stars for setting her up with Harrison.
He broke down in tears when he said he was going up to a place and heading back to Western Australia.
“I’m done, yes I’m done,” he said.
At dinner, Harrison said that he wanted to resign at the commitment ceremony.
“There is no chance that I will stay tomorrow,” he said.
Have I told Bronte? No, but does she know that the relationship is over? I think so. She is pretty brutal,” she added.
