More recently, Dave and Shirley posted videos of him running in the race, cheering him on in the background.
It comes after Gogglebox fans burst into laughter after seeing Shirley’s hilarious response to a very awkward question from her husband Dave about his actions in the bedroom during a recent episode.
The couple, who live in Caerphilly, Wales, briefly discussed their romantic lives while watching model Cara Delevingne’s BBC documentary Planet Sex.
But Shirley quickly ended the conversation when Dave grilled her when he asked about their sex life: “You’re not disappointed, are you?”
