Get ready to Lose Yourself! Eminem is ‘100 per cent in negotiations’ to tour Australia next year

Eminem is ‘100 percent in negotiations’ to tour Australia next year, it is claimed.

According to radio presenter Mark ‘Roo’ Ricciuto, the tour is not yet a done deal, but talks are underway.

Speaking on his radio show, 104.7 triple M on Thursday, Mark said a source told him the tour will take place early to mid next year, following claims Slim Shady will hit Australian shores in late 2023.

“They’re 100 percent in the negotiations… but it’s not done yet. Ticketek is involved and Adelaide Oval,’ Mark said.

“It won’t be in 2023…it will be between the Adelaide Oval Test match against the West Indies and the first round of football,” he added.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Eminem representatives for comment on this article.

It comes after an anonymous caller told the show earlier this week that the rapper will be touring Australia.

An anonymous caller made the claim 104.7 triple M on Tuesday, revealing that they were informed of the exciting news by a source who works for Ticketek Australia.

According to the caller, 50-year-old Eminem will perform at Adelaide Oval, which seats approximately 53,000 people.

“I’ve heard there’s a big name coming to town at the end of the year and it’s Eminem..a friend of a friend has let it slip out of Ticketek,” the caller claimed.

“They are currently working with Adelaide Oval to arrange a venue.”

It comes amid claims that Taylor Swift will also be coming to Australia early next year as part of her Eras tour.

While Australian promoter Live Nation has yet to confirm dates, Swift is believed to be performing at Melbourne’s MCG and Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

The superstar will arrive in Sydney in January before heading to Melbourne next month, according to sources at multiple locations and ticket agency Ticketek.

The Shake It Off star is expected to play at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, which has a capacity of 100,000.

If she sells out the house, which she almost certainly will, it will be one of the biggest shows of her career, the Shameless podcast reports.

It’s unclear when tickets for her Australian and New Zealand tour will go on sale, but Ticketek has posted a waiting list on its website.
