Fujifilm’s next budget camera could pack surprisingly powerful hardware

New information has recently been leaked about Fujifilm’s next camera, the X-T50, which provides some insight into its performance. According to Fuji Rumorsthe device will have in-body image stabilization (IBIS). This feature reduces the amount of camera shake to ensure crystal clear photos. It is a piece of technology that can also be found on the more expensive Fujifilm X-T5. Additionally, like its counterpart, the X-T50 is said to house a 40MP X-Trans V image sensor

This could mean that the new camera performs just as well as the X-T5, and is capable of taking the same level of high-quality photos. However, if NotebookCheck points out that this is unlikely, as the X-T50 is supposed to be a budget model. Fujifilm doesn’t want to cannibalize sales of the X-T5, so the publication theorizes that the company will hold back their new device somehow.
