Fox News star Sean Hannity lists his stunning Long Island mansion for $13.75m after quitting New York for ‘the free state of Florida’

Fox host Sean Hannity’s departure from New York is official as he has put his beautiful Long Island mansion up for sale for $13.75 million.

Hannity announced in January that he would record both his radio show and his Fox News TV slot from studios in West Palm Beach, Florida.

“We are now embarking on our first broadcast from my new home and that is in the free state of Florida,” the host said on his iHeartRadio show months ago. ‘I’m leaving. I’m ready. I’m ready.’

Hannity bought the 11,000-square-foot, seven-bedroom estate in 2008 for $8 million, according to the Wall Street Journal reported.

The Center Island estate features six hectares of lush green land, many trees on the property and a private 80-foot jetty that opens directly into Oyster Bay, according to the mention.

Shawn Elliot, Zach Elliot and Allison K. Beamer of Nest Seekers International were the listing agents for Hannity’s nine-bathroom property.

The listing turns the gourmet kitchen into a “culinary sanctuary,” complete with marble countertops, top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinetry and a long white center island with comfortable stools.

The dining room is closed off from the kitchen for a more intimate atmosphere. The room is white with intricate moldings and has a minimalist chandelier above the eight-person table.

For more casual meals, there is also a breakfast nook overlooking the bay.

The living room also has a view of the water through the large windows. In it are two white-beige sofas flanked by two wicker chairs, a furniture choice reminiscent of country houses.

Adjacent to the living room are a series of doors that lead to a long columned veranda that offers expansive views of Oyster Bay.

Not mentioned in the listing, but a standout feature of the multimillion-dollar property nonetheless is the bar.

It features deep blue cabinets, granite countertops with an elegant bronze edge and numerous different cocktail containers adorning the shelves.

Within the gated grounds of the sparkling white and gray residence you will also find a swimming pool, tennis court, par-3 golf course and a separate putting green, according to the listing.

Still, despite the luxurious and tranquil setting this home offers—and it’s located just 40 miles east of New York City—Hannity had no problem putting it on the market.

The Oyster Bay area was also formerly home to Billy Joel, who listed his home there for $49 million in 2023. At the time, social media creators had fun splashing images of his palatial estate onto their pages to the tune of his hit song “Movin’ Out.”

Hannity announced his plans to move to Florida back in 2021, when it was reported that he had purchased a $5.3 million condo in Palm Beach.

The move to the Sunshine State was precipitated by Hannity’s desire to live somewhere where he agreed with the politicians running the show.

Hannity even moderated a debate between Florida Governor and former Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis and California Governor Gavin Newsom in 2023.

Former President Donald Trump is also staying in Florida at his Mar-a-Lago complex, which is also located in Palm Beach.

“Finally, for the first time I can think of in my adult life, I actually have representatives in the state I live in who share my values,” he said on the radio show.
