England football legend Millie Bright appears to have finally addressed her colorful love life after finding the man of her dreams – and announcing she is about to become a mother.
The former England and Chelsea captain couldn’t contain her joy when she revealed that she is pregnant in an interview with a glossy magazine.
The Lioness told it Women’s health: ‘It was very difficult to keep it a secret, but it is finally out.
“It’s the greatest gift you can receive – to bring life into the world – so we’re excited.”
The announcement comes just four months after it was revealed that Millie, 33, was quietly settling down with influencer hairdresser Tom Mitchell.
The pair teamed up after meeting to talk about creating content together around the time the Lioness dramatically announced her retirement from football earlier this year.

Revealing their relationship, they said, “It turns out we ended up creating something much more special.”
Since then, they have flaunted their glamorous lifestyle together by attending film premieres and dressing up for awards ceremonies, as well as enjoying holidays in Portugal and America.
During their trip to the US they saw England’s defeat by Panama in a World Cup match at New York’s MetLife Stadium, as well as an ‘unforgettable’ helicopter flight over the Manhattan skyline.
The couple documents their life full of “laughter, chaos, adventures” and “random moments” behind the scenes on a joint Instagram page.
Now Tom, who runs his own salon in Sheffield, has said of their happy news: ‘We are grateful. I was very excited when I found out. I jumped out of bed and then was an emotional wreck until about three or four in the morning.”
Now in her second trimester, Millie said the hardest part of pregnancy so far has been navigating the changes in her body.
She said: ‘It was difficult. I’m used to being very athletic and fitting my body into certain clothes, and that’s changing. Now I’m embracing it and feeling good about myself, confident and happy, because I’m reaching the stage where I look and feel pregnant, whereas before I just felt inadequate.”

Millie gained a reputation as one of the most feared centre-backs in women’s football during a 12-year career in which she won 20 major domestic trophies.
She played every match in England’s triumphant Euro 2020 campaign and led the team to the final of the Women’s World Cup two years later.
As her career went from strength to strength, for a while it seemed that Millie might not be so lucky in love after the failure of a string of high-profile romances.
In 2020, she started dating Levi Crew, a performance coach, nutritionist and personal trainer from America.
Millie spent Christmas alone that year due to the Covid pandemic before the couple ended up sharing a house together in Surrey, along with their two French Bulldogs Zeus and Hera.
Millie had a tattoo of Levi’s eye on her left forearm. The design also features a half tiger.
She said: ‘It is the eye of my partner and half a tiger, my core strength with me through thick and thin.’
The couple got engaged in December 2023 after Levi proposed during a tropical Christmas vacation.
Millie took to Instagram at the time to share the happy news with her followers, showing off her beautiful ring.
Millie posted photos from their holiday to Mauritius and wrote: ‘I didn’t think this would be the best Christmas of my entire life…
“I said YES after the shock wore off and Levi reminded me yes or no.
“You were already my person, but on the future bubba. I love you.’
But two years later the couple split after Millie started a relationship with married father-of-seven Dave Zetolofsky, 39.
She has told friends that her new romance with the former professional kickboxer and martial arts enthusiast had nothing to do with her withdrawal from the England squad at the time.
There was no evidence that the couple cheated on their partners.
However, their relationship devastated Dave’s wife Katie, who gave birth in January that year.
Friends said Millie met Dave after she started training at the 21st Century Combat Gym in Redhill, Surrey.
Sources say she joined his class in February and after Millie ended things with Levi, Dave split from Katie ‘out of the blue’.
Friends claim that after Dave moved out of the family home, Millie paid for him to stay in hotels.
Shortly afterwards, Dave was seen at Millie’s house on a private road in Surrey, where Katie was left devastated with their five-month-old baby.
He is an expert in Muay Thai, a full-contact martial art.
A source said: ‘Millie and Dave’s relationship is no secret. They have been seen everywhere and at the gym together.
‘You can imagine that Katie has found the whole thing quite devastating.
‘The consequences have been enormous, but Millie has fallen for this man.’
Millie was awarded an Order of the British Empire in the 2024 New Year’s Honors List in recognition of her contribution to women’s football, including winning the 2022 European Championship and captaining England to the 2023 World Cup finals.
With Chelsea she has won 19 awards. But she declared herself ‘not happy’ before withdrawing from the England squad for the European Championships in Switzerland.
