Pop star Delta Goodrem responds to furious fans after canceling UK tour – but announces another ‘glamorous’ Australian show
Delta Goodrem received an outpouring of hate from disappointed European fans in her most recent Instagram post.
The Australian singer, 38, announced on Thursday that she will play at the Coliseum Theater in Sydney in September.
She shared a photo of herself sitting on stage in the empty arena and wrote: ‘I’ve never played before so of course I had to go see it for myself and my god what a beautiful venue!
Sydney! can’t wait to kick off these intimate shows for the Innocent Eyes Tour there in September. Tickets are going fast!!! All other shows are now sold out xx’.
Many of Delta’s European fans were furious at the post, however, as no new dates have been announced after canceling that leg of her tour.

Her European tour was canceled earlier this year after she “overused” her vocal cords.
The singer would perform in Dublin, Glasgow, Madrid, Zurich, Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Copenhagen, Oslo, London, Birmingham and Manchester.
One fan sarcastically commented, “That’s so awesome…. Thank you so much for fulfilling your UK tour ahead of your shows in the Maldives and Sydney, oh wait, well…
“Some of us made plans months in advance (time off, flights, accommodation), some of us didn’t make it through for other more glamorous gigs #LostFan #Disappointment #Crying #What.”

Despite being slammed by the fan, Delta responded, “I felt the same disappointment when I had to move the show because of my voice.”
“It was very heartbreaking to have to move them, but voice health had to come first.
‘The Maldives were always at the end of the Europe tour. Never instead of.’
Another fan wrote, “British date? It would be good to hear when they are rescheduled (or not at all).”
Delta also politely responded to this comment, writing, “They are beautiful! Every day we are all so excited for them! xxx’
