‘I’m like [to the show’s producers], “Throw me all the trouble, all the chaos”. It’s a pretty juicy love triangle, and I don’t know how it ends, so it’ll be fun to see how that plays out.”

It comes after Corrie fans watching the recent awards show were surprised after hearing the actress’ real accent.

After taking home the top gong, viewers couldn’t help but be distracted as the star took the stage to deliver her acceptance speech.

Although her character Daisy has a strong Manchester accent, Charlotte is in fact from Surrey.

Fans were stunned to hear the actress’ real voice and took to Twitter to express their surprise.

One of them said, “I didn’t expect Charlotte Jordan to sound so chic in real life.”

Another echoed, “Charlotte Jordan is a classy girl! My ears got all messed up.’

A third praised: “Wow! How different does Charlotte Jordan sound from her character Daisy in #Corrie, but she’s fantastic nonetheless. Well-deserved award!’

Three is a mob: Now her character has been left in a pickle after sharing a kiss with the injured Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott, left) despite being engaged to Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard, right)

Real life: Charlotte said, “Have I ever been in a real life love triangle?” Certainly not! My life is unproblematic, it’s not chaotic, it’s not messy – I mind my business. But that means it’s a lot of fun to play, I love it’

A fourth agreed, writing: ‘charlotte jordan deserves any award based purely on the fact that her manchester accent is unreal??? i’m so confused about how she’s actually so chic’.

While a fifth added: ‘Had no idea Charlotte Jordan put on her Manchester accent’.

And a sixth commented: ‘Charlotte Jordan is also very beautiful, but I’m absolutely blown away by the fact that she’s not really from Manchester’.

Charlotte previously revealed that she had no idea how to do the Mancun accent when she first auditioned for the soap.

However, she revealed that luckily she had a friend who tried to mimic the same accent at the same time, from whom she was able to learn.

Speak against Subway in January, she explained, “When I went to the audition, I didn’t know how to do it.

Shock: It comes after Corrie fans watching the recent awards show were surprised after hearing the actress’ real accent

‘But by sheer luck, or fate, a friend of mine did an ITV drama where she had to have a Mancunian accent. She had an accent coach, so I actually used her as a coach to capture the accent.”

Charlotte, who was central to the gruesome acid attack storyline, was up for both Best Leading Actor and Best Dramatic Performance at the ceremony.

She missed out on the Best Leading Performer gong to EastEnders star Danielle Harold, but she won the Best Dramatic Performance award.

Charlotte and her co-stars Ryan Prescott (Ryan Connor) and Andrew Still (Justin Rutherford) also scooped up Scene of The Year and Best Single Episode for the horrific acid attack scene itself.
