Coronation Street’s Todd Boyce Hints Stephen Reid Could Become Soap Opera’s Biggest Serial Killer As He Prepares To Claim Another Victim

Coronation Street star Todd Boyce has revealed that Stephen Reid could become soap opera’s biggest serial killer as he prepares to claim another victim next month.

The villain has become the cobblestones’ latest threat after claiming two victims, hinting that his kill list could hit “four or five” if his reign of terror continues.

speaking to MirrorTodd joked that he’s sparked fear among the cast of who his next victim might be, especially since he has no plans to leave the cobblestones any time soon.

It comes after fans were left guessing if Stephen killed a third time on Monday’s episode, when he raised a punch to murder businessman Rufus, but changed his mind at the last minute.

Speaking about the upcoming storyline, Todd confirmed that his character will be killing again in the coming weeks, with several soap opera regulars already in his sights.

He said: ‘And after that, I think there could be more. Now he has a taste for it and I think he realizes that if he gets caught for three, he might as well get caught for four or five.

“It would be fantastic to go into the record books as the series’ biggest serial killer.” What a thing to be known for.

‘I always get asked by the cast, ‘how long will you be here?’ ‘Then they’ll come back a month later and say, ‘Tell me again, how long do you think you’re going to stay?’

Viewers will be left guessing who Stephen will kill next, after weeks of injecting his boss Carla Connor with LSD.

And in the next few scenes, he’s going to be upset with newcomer Owen Longford (Ben Hull), when he arrives and immediately falls for landlady Jenny Connor, who Stephen has a crush on.

Viewers will have to wait and see who Stephen points to as his next victim, as he climbs the ladder to become Corrie’s most notorious serial killer.

In Monday’s episode, Stephen tried to strike again after Rufus threatened to tell everyone about how he had been drugging Carla with LSD to take over the factory.

Rufus appeared in Underworld with an ultimatum for Stephen and ordered him to break the American contract and if he doesn’t play ball he will tell the beans about Carla.

A furious Stephen grabbed the gun closest to his hand and moved behind him ready to attack before being interrupted by a worker.
